You're welcome. Would you like to post some pics of the assembled case with your new front panel? This would be the ultimate accuracy test. I'm very interested. May work: "angle brackets for D-SUB" https://cdn-reichelt.de/documents/datenblatt/C120/sv_wmg.pdf https://www.darisusgmbh.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p19639_BZMS950-----Mounting-Set-M3--2Parts-.html/XTCsid/f215b3f397de638e64e6e7ceebefa981 http://www.tme.eu/html/EN/angle-brackets-for-d-sub-connectors/ramka_978_EN_pelny.html You're welcome freddy, have fun building.

Thank you for taking part in this bulk, offe! I'm glad to hear that the cases arrived you safely.

You could actually equip the SEQ with chrome-matt-finished & nickel-matt-finished data wheels for more bling. http://albs.de/ecom/images/868003.pdf http://albs.de/ecom/images/868004.pdf Needs a data wheel hole > 16 mm, however.

Don't get the doge wrong. :puppeh: He only found the panel to be very glossy and that didn't imply views in taste. Maybe some like their panel glossy red?
-
Much shiny. Very glossy. Wow.

Update: Packing phase has started. 80mm fan for comparison - no banana available. I aim to hand over the parcels to DHL by end of the week. Parcels have been packed, shipping labels have been printed.
-
Update: The cases (20.10 kg ) arrived at my place. To-do-list for the next coming days: Measurement checking: Done. Cases are direct clones to the already 30 manufactured by Heidenreich. The standard 17" front panel by Wilba fits nicely (see pic) Ordering fitting cardboard boxes: on their way Printing shipping labels and preparing abroad shipment Tracking numbers will be provided via Paypal
-
Update: Heidenreich announced the shipping today, I expect the delivery to take place in the next 1-2 days.
-
 Yes, it's still available. Thanks, I fixed the amount for you. For a panel set please PM julianf.
-
Thnx jojjelito. Yes, please PM me - I'll put you on the list.

Good news everyone, I phoned with Heidenreich today: the cases are in production, 9x black & 1x alu blank for casius are confirmed invoice should arrive tomorrow lead time ~ 4 weeks, confirmed delivery before Heidenreich goes into holidays (4th of August) Also thanks go to casius & xtrmnt, who relieved me from paying Paypal fees. I'll donate the fees to Twin-X (hosting costs), when the financial details are processed. Edit: Invoice is paid.

The list is online: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=albs_wish_list

Update: received payment from all participants - thanks again for the swift payment! order has been sent to Heidenreich this morning awaiting proforma invoice

Now I understand what you mean. Well, the reason why I proposed rails is that your design is probably a 1,5mm one and now looks recessed. If you use a 3mm design and add rails, it would look flush mounted. But I guess it's a matter of taste and budget. Also be careful with altering the original design, the screw holes should have the original alignment. There's probably only space left for a LED lead when you finally assemble case and panel.
-
As Altitude says. If you like cutting recesses, the pic should give you some hints for useful recesses. Also a 25mm wide hole for the data wheel makes sense, as this makes you able to choose between the Albs DK45 & the original DK38.

Cool, looking forward to see them.

Update: Got 8 case sign ups, need 2 additional cases for this bulk to get started. I won't supply any frontpanels, since only fundamental took interest. Please PM Julianf or visit frontpanels.de for your individual frontpanel. Sign up here if you want a case: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=seq4_aluminium_case_and_frontpanel_2014

I think the best idea is to discuss this matter with Julianf. I'm not a manufacturer of panels, so I don't have any influence on panel prices.
-
I'm currently busy with the SEQ4 case bulk. I'll create an ALBS wish list the next days, but no idea when this will take place.
-
I guess it's a good idea to PM julianf or contact frontpanels.de. Edit: Btw, the signup phase for the first batch has started, if someone wants a case this summer please sign up at: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=seq4_aluminium_case_and_frontpanel_2014

Or 9,15EUR, if you use this service (assuming your box is under 1kg) http://www.deutschepost.de/de/b/briefe-ins-ausland/warenversand-international.html :ike: Location: Austria

it's a urethane foam joined with activated carbon http://www.china-zhongdi.com/products.asp?cataid=153 You certainly don't want to use it every day, but for soldering 2 Sammichs, 2 Cores & a SEQ4 PCB it's enough IMO. There are cheap 120x120mm HEPA filters out there that could be easily joined by 4 screws with a 120x120mm fan: http://www.ebay.de/itm/111372608914 I have one of those (not with the exact dimensions), but beware: you get what you pay for... the twice as expensive original parts look much more refined than the cheap rip-offs. On the other hand - they are designed for vacuum cleaners...

What I mean: what happens if your turn the case up side down? E.g. transporting it to a gig etc? I don't have a better word than slide or guide rail for it, I marked them red for you. I even don't have a word in German for it  Furthermore, I marked 2 recesses that aren't necessary with SmashTV's PCB.
