Friend of mine brought me two broken Alesis SR-16's to make one working from them. Repaired both. Now one is mine. Sounds excellent, but not for electronic music =)

one has wrested volume pot and nearby caps, another - broken keyboard/LCD cable. Another puzzle was power supply. SR-16 works brom both 9v AC and DC, but there's no sound with DC PSU. But i don't know that and replaced TL084, which of course don't help me.

after some hours of playing with it found a couple of electric kicks/snares, and percussion samples are quite fine!
Germaniser is my next project (after finishing MN3007 Corrrall chorus and EchoBase delay =)

MN3007 CORRRAL CHORUS ...haha I am working to it too. Already done a REBOTE DELAY.
Nice to see how we all often work to the same not properly MIDIBOX projects
