nILS
Nice one, Pascal! Doing cores/sids on veroboard isn't that much fun ;D I'd still recommend it to everyone to do it once - it's a nice practice and even a bit of fun, if you like tetris ;)

nILS
I think is is a pretty good example of how addictive 'boxing is - you finish an 8x SID with full cs, which does every thing you can imagine, and still you go ahead and build another stereo version ;D I kinda know the feeling! Sasha
Pascal, those boxes might look good but it is hard to tell with those headlights. I`m blinded just by looking at that picture. I`m starting to think it is more about display than sound. Are you willing to post some daylight or powered off pictures?
nILS
My 2 cents: Don't use 220 Ohm resistors for blue LEDs. Use 10k. Seriously.

Wilba
Wow! I don't remember these posted in the MIDIbox of the Week forum! They deserve their own thread each!Great work, Pascal! Can you show internal construction too? There are lots of people wanting to build a rack-mounted SID synth who would benefit from seeing the inside ;)
Sasha
Nice rack units Pascal. Congratulations! How are those knobs for using? You beat me with that tight spacing. ;D
Pascal
I am so sorry, i don´t have actually Pics from the Okta-Sid. Only a german thread with the Pics from the SID_Synth 101.http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,10670.0.htmlThe Okta-SID has the same construction only with 8 SID´s. What i have new Design was a 8 Bank-Stick Board was put it on the left side of the Rack. The CS was the same. When the new MegaSale 6582 come in, i make Pics from the inside of the Okta-SID.
