Although not a full blown kit, there is something similar going on here: http://midibox.org/f...with-my-core32/

preenFM seems to be using the internal DAC though.

Well, mobile browsers have a tendency to be even less cooperative... But the problem is a different one: having another look I found that the link points towards a restricted section of the MIDIbox forum where only users with programmer status have access. It is mainly about a beta version of the nI2S synth running on the STM32 core.

It's in the Programmers Lounch section, which you probably dont have access to. Sorry about that.

Hi,

I'm still coming here from time to time to see how things are moving forward ;-)
I learnt so many things from Thorsten work.
The 24LC512 and 75HC165 wiring of the PreenFM come directly from the midibox.

The audio output do not come from a DAC but from a 1 bit digital output at 72Mhz low pass filtered.

Ixox: Simply ask TK to get access to the Programmer's Lounge and you'll be able to see the thread.
Check out the unofficial MIDIbox Quote database

Really great work!
I like the assembly hacks, very inspirational! :)

Best Regards, Thorsten.

I'm a bit late on this one...
But thanks Thorsten, i'm glad if you find something useful inside.

For those who can be interested, lots of new things since 2 months.
- It now has 2 step sequencers usable as source in the modulation matrix.
- External Midi clock synchronization for the 3 LFOs and 2 step sequencers
- Kind of gate on the main output
That allows to get sound like this by just pressing a few key on your keyboard :

(Drums are VST Drumaxx).

No assembly in the new feature ;-)
