Phatline Posted October 30, 2018 Report Posted October 30, 2018 (edited) in UI-Essentual-Kit - the last element of the boom is used the maker number: (makes not a different, but it confuzed me... came to a part which not exist, but as i can see evertything is in stock! sorry.) 4816P-T02-103LF|1 (thats maker nr.) 652-4816P-T2LF-10K|1 (thats mouser nr.) 782-6N138 CORE-essentual-Kit 1800 in stock - but stopped production - can i take 6n136 instead? or others (will not that go away that fast, but since on lcsc they have for example 136 but not 138...for example) Edited October 30, 2018 by Phatline Quote
latigid on Posted October 30, 2018 Author Report Posted October 30, 2018 Thanks, I fixed the resistor network! For the optocoupler, the 136 is 10x faster, maybe it needs other components altered? I will leave the 782-6N138 in for the moment, but there are a couple of substitutes available (859-6N138, 630-6N138-000E). Quote
Phatline Posted November 2, 2018 Report Posted November 2, 2018 (edited) to 6N136, by searching the midibox forum there are some posts that they used th 6n136 with no problems... i will try them... to not blow up the SEQV4+ tread: ? see i right that you add this lines @ the end of boom: CORE: Quote 571-1487595-1|1 467-SDSDAA-008G|1 517-89110-0101|6 517-89116-0101|2 523-135-2801-010FT|4 523-135-2801-016FT|4 UI: Quote 517-89116-0101|5 517-89124-0101|1 517-89108-0101|1 517-89110-0101|8 523-135-2801-010FT|2 523-135-2801-016FT|2 523-191-2801-124|2 all other is unchanged? > means you just add this lines to the end of the Boom List? The only things I've added are basically ribbon cable and IDC headers. You don't need the USB-AB cable/SD card I'm sure. One of the pin headers was changed a week or so ago (now 929700-01-36-RK), if you bought the longer ones they'll still work but you'll probably have to trim them shorter. Also, there was a period where the multiple projects in a kit were not counted in the kit BOM, thus you might be missing Hirose headers (MDF7-10S-254DSA55). Just now, Phatline said: 652-3306F-1-103 (for displays?) can i substitue the 10K trimmers @ corekit with 20K ones? > Should work out fine. Actually, the OLEDs don't use a backlight, so you can even leave them off. Quote

latigid on Posted December 18, 2018 Author Report Posted December 18, 2018 Quote It seems Mouser only has 33 of the MEC switches left (you need 34) and they have a 30 week lead time on getting more! I found RS Components still has them. What about the DMOS chip? TBD62381AFWG,EL. This is also out of stock at Mouser. Can I substitute another IC in the same series? MEC switches are available at Reichelt:https://www.reichelt.de/multimec-button-no-lights-print-connection-taster-3fth9-p156904.html?r=1 or Conrad:https://www.conrad.de/de/mec-3fth9-drucktaster-25-vdc-005-a-1-x-ausein-ip67-tastend-1-st-705268.html TBD62381A is available at Digikey:https://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=TBD62381AFWGELCT-ND%09 an alternative part is TBD62083AFWG, with good amounts of stock listed at Mouser (the flyback diodes shouldn't affect the operation):https://www.mouser.de/ProductDetail/?qs=fSnNYG2PaKJPpDBB6xK1QA%3d%3d Quote
Smithy Posted December 18, 2018 Report Posted December 18, 2018 More out of stock parts submitted by Jeppe on the midiphy Facebook page: Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors MLCC - SMD/SMT 50V 0.1uF X7R 1206 10% https://eu.mouser.com/ProductDetail/KEMET/C1206C104K5RACTU?qs=VbFpUC1cecnmBMAUeCQCPw== Kingbright Through Hole 5MM FULL COLOR Pretty sure that's the Beat LED https://www.mouser.ie/ProductDetail/Kingbright/WP154A4SUREQBFZGW?qs=w3%252bcv6FlocrIOROaa2rdEg== Andy if you could suggest the replacements for those it would be great, the capacitor should be easy enough to find a replacement but your eagle eyes might spot something I do not! ;) Quote
synaptech Posted December 18, 2018 Report Posted December 18, 2018 The LED is available at Digikey: https://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=WP154A4SUREQBFZGW For the capacitor I think any 50v .1uF X7R 1206 10% should be fine, but I'll let the powers that be give a definitive answer. :) Quote
latigid on Posted December 18, 2018 Author Report Posted December 18, 2018 Hello, I updated the BOM tool for the caps (current stock 30k). Never heard of "flex termination" caps, but they sound useful! Probably they'll also go out of stock at some point. The LED is due to arrive in about two weeks, so I won't change that one for now. Essentially any common cathode 5mm RGB LED should work, or even a bicolour or single-colour version (only 2/3 dies are used in the case of an RGB). The Beat LED step is done almost last, so it shouldn't hold up the build. Here's the first link I found on eBay (recommended to get a diffused lens):https://www.ebay.de/itm/50PCS-5mm-4pin-RGB-Diffused-Tri-Color-Common-Cathode-LED-Red-Green-Blue/201570892720?hash=item2eee8fbbb0:g:8HUAAOSwlHRXIk~D:rk:1:pf:0 Note that the delivery might come after the Mouser one comes back in stock, but it's certainly cheaper through eBay! You're right about the cap though: the specs are very non-crucial for this part. Quote
latigid on Posted December 18, 2018 Author Report Posted December 18, 2018 FWIW, I would still suggest to order the Beat LED with the main order. You normally won't have to pay for shipping a second time on backordered parts (at least I've received a smaller packet later in the past). Quote
latigid on Posted December 25, 2018 Author Report Posted December 25, 2018 62083 is available at TME: https://www.tme.eu/at/details/tbd62083afwg/treiber-integrierte-schaltungen/toshiba/ Quote
southpole Posted January 23, 2019 Report Posted January 23, 2019 Hi, The Hirose connectors MDF7-10S-2.54DSA(55) are out of stock at Mouser with a 16 week lead time. i found some at Digikey but maybe there is another store with more favorable delivery conditions? (btw. sorry i didn't see this thread before i guess i should have posted my Tayda stuff better here) Cheers Quote
latigid on Posted January 23, 2019 Author Report Posted January 23, 2019 Digikey has lots of stock, Mouser looks to receive a delivery on 2018-02-04. If it's super urgent, consider buying the 11-pin version (MDF7-11S-2.54DSA(55)). It might work just to offset the pins one row, but another option is just to cut the edge/last position off if it gets in the way of the mounting hardware. Quote
southpole Posted January 23, 2019 Report Posted January 23, 2019 hi all, should maybe be in market but since it's for SEQ V4+ i try here... i bought the Mouser mandatory min. amount of 25 RS-242 interfaces (MC3486N) and have 23 surplus now, if somebody wants to trade for something or buy at very good price just for you my friends Quote
latigid on Posted January 23, 2019 Author Report Posted January 23, 2019 Interesting, as the following part can be ordered in single quantities... perhaps they changed it recently? https://eu.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Texas-Instruments/MC3486N?qs=sGAEpiMZZMsY34Xj74lW5jRIn19E3hK9zaKqQ%252ba%252bP%2f8%3d The BOM module is updated with this part. Sorry that you're loaded with so many! Quote
