lief138 Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 Im still waiting... I think the girl in the mail room is starting to hate me :) Quote
reincarnate Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 Since everyone seemed to have received theirs, I was getting worried, especially since my local sorting office seem to use the power of their union to allow them to pilfer goods in transit........but they arrived today! They feel great, especially with the perfect fit of the "Waldorf" knobs. The dentent is not as chunky as on my Yamaha and Roland kit, and for me that's a good thing. So, thanks for all your work on this Frank. I'm very happy.Steve Quote
aeiou42 Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 I haven't gotten mine yet :(. Guess the post service in Vermont is enjoying all the snow we're getting. Quote
mc4 Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 Sounds good so far - I think the remaining packets will arrive soon :) Quote
kokiPsiho Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 Got mine few days ago.thanks Quote
lief138 Posted February 22, 2008 Report Posted February 22, 2008 You and me both bro! The girl at the mail room has gone past hate and has moved on to hate filled rage and spitting venom.Nothing yet, snif snif :-\ Quote
dstamand Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 It's been to long now, can you trace back the package asap. Try to know where it is right now.It is not in Canada, i talk with PostCanada, there is nothing for me coming from europe. Thanks! Quote
mc4 Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 I feel with you! :(Looking for information about delivery time, I found this:http://www.dhl.de/dhl?tab=1&skin=hi&check=yes&lang=de_DE&xmlFile=3001738(sorry this is german)It says that a 'Paeckchen' , german for small packet, will take >30 days to canada. I did sent the packets on 1.2.2008. My decision was for 'Paeckchen', because the faster 'Paket' (10 days) costs about 20 Euros ( USD 30) more. Quote
dstamand Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Ok, no problem my friend. I was on the impression that regular postal service was use. That is why i've checked with post canada. You do not have any tracking number from DHL ? Quote
mc4 Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Unfortunatly the 'Paeckchen' has no tracking number. Quote
Monobass Posted March 2, 2008 Report Posted March 2, 2008 once the detent is removed, how is the slack on these encoders? i.e. that effect you get when you keep turning one way, then when you start turning the other way there is a loose section before it engages again.I've found this happens a little when you remove the detent on the bourns encoders from SmashTV, it sometimes makes it quite tricky to select a precise value.. which isn't always a big deal.. sometimes it is.. like on note pitch etc :) Quote

stryd_one Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 Thanks Ganchan. Maybe you could add your pics to the wiki page with similar pics? More doco never hurts :) In fact, maybe this subject (removing detents) could do with it's own page? I'll leave it up to you. Quote
Monobass Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 Would anyone like to sell me 50 of these encoders? Quote
