  1. Thanks man! works with the 87iii as well . Still trying to get an accurate reading every time because when I try several times I still get some difference of 0.01
  2. Hi, another question. I am also busy with the matched resistors and looking at peters video he uses auto range on his multimeter to get 2 decimals. Whatever i try with my fluke 87iii i always get 1 decimal. How are you getting 2 decimals when measuring the resistors? I Guess it should work with a fluke right? Maybe not the right question for this board but since you are far better with electronics then me maybe you can help me. Cheers niels
  3. Hi, I like to start with the dacs but looking at the pcb's i see that the bridges are really close to eachother. Is this normal? I Guess using flux will not solder a bridge but just asking ;-) Cheers niels
  4. Ha now i understand the jumper was wrong. Everything working now, no need of an eurorack power (yet). Thanks going further now with building ;-)
  5. Hi, Jumper setting is the same as in hawkeyes video. Just wanted to test the module only with the usb power but do you also need to supply power by the eurorack psu rail? Sorry still really noob with eurorack, this is my beginning with it ;-) i thought powering only by usb is enough.
  6. Hi, I just finished the euroceiver module and like to test if it functions with the led etc. Is it already possible to test the module because when i put the usb in there i don't see the led going on while the led is good while checking with a multimeter. Thanks, niels
  7. I had this problem too and fixed it by using more tin on the 2 joints on the board. Watch out burning the super leds!
  8. Wow impressive.. Can't wait to try them out!
  9. I don't think the shrouded header is the problem since it works with another brand of header. This is the header i got the problem with : 517-89124-0101 (8pin)
  10. Hi All, I just finished my Midiphy build and just wanted to share my experience with building this box to you. - Building is quite easy, i did my build in around 18 hours with a lot of testing etc. between. - Soldering the SMD parts i did with 0.5 tin and i really recommend using a flux pen for the IC's . It makes the soldering so much cleaner. For the soldering of the IC's i used a Gullwing tip on my iron after looking at this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKHsfTH_PvI ) . This really works and makes it quite easy to do without applying to much heat etc. For the normal soldering i used a thicker tin wire and no flux pen to speed up the job. - I had some non responsive matthias caps due to soldering problems with the multicolour leds. Double check that the soldered CC pin really makes a good connection. Resoldering the CC connection solved this very easily. - I would suggest when you are at the part of building everything in the case use the final firmware with hw file for testing. I first used the Seq_r file but had some strange things. When i used the final firmware i didn't see this occur. - For the connection of the right board to the matrix board it was suggested to use a 5cm cable but this really is short. There is enough space to use something like 8cm. - I didn't like the grey 3m 8pin connectors for the cables, they dont sit that tight when connected. When i used some black ones i had lying around they were much better - For case screwing i mixed up the screws. I used the small black parker screws in the inside but it is better to put the large screws inside for mounting the panels and the small ones for the outside. - When finalizing the case i noticed i got lcd dropouts etc. This was also mentioned in the troubleshooting forum of midiphy. When the case is closed the plastic screen protectors push on the displays a little which is fine but it also pushes the end of the cable to the idc on the back of the screens which might give some kind of shortage. I did some tweaking on the pin headers to get this fixed. I really really recommend this box for building. The quality is really great, the oleds are superior over my old matrix screens in my other seq4 and the casing is really nicely done. Also the new workflow is really nicely done. Thanks to tk for this awesome software. Guys from Midiphy, Hawkeye for the perfect detailed videos and all the people who help on this forum and support this beast of a machine. Can't wait to get the CV modular output panel. Many Greets, Niels
  11. Hi Andy, Thanks for the tip. Now i understand where the L stands for in seq_l haha. Everything works when using the R version. Doing some final testing ;-) Cheers Niels
  12. Hi Guys, I am almost finished with building the midiphy but I have a last issue. When creating the chain with the 2 boards and the matrix the following happens. In picture 1 I am creating a chain with the matrix first. then the left board and then the right. Testing with seq_l is perfect In picture 2 which is the config I need I create a chain with the left board first, then the right board and then the matrix and then I got some weird things like the left board showing all lights and the matrix all lights and the right board does nothing at all. It is stalling all operations and set debug on does not give any input anymore. Any idea what is going on? Many greets, Niels
  13. Hi, What lcd screens do you use in this seq? Looking for screens like this but can't find good ones. Cheers, niels
  14. Item is not for sale anymore, trying to find a way to close this post.
  15. Hi, With pain in my heart I sell my working seq 4. Professionaly soldered and placed in a Heidenreich glossy black case. 4 midi ports and included is quad IIC card with programmed roms. I did not completely finish the builds because I simply don't have the time for it anymore and when I do finish it I won't use it because I mainly use the DAW nowadays. The only thing that needs to be done Is place the cards in the heidenreich case and that's it. Working with a CORE_STM32, I will also sent all the stuff I used for building like cabling and all the extra stuff I have used for it. I am asking 650euro (ex shipping) and I prefer sending to the Netherlands but another country is also a possibility. btw: the photos maybe show some things like scratches but they aren't. it is pure lightning of the picture. It is possible to send extra pictures when needed. Cheers, Niels
  16. Yes already cut and ordered all the parts needed for the board so i am looking for the Smashtv PCB with the 6 outputs .. Thanks for the offer anyway!
  17. Heya, Ik heb intresse in de Quad IIC PCB. Heb je hem nog liggen? Groetjes, Niels
  18. Hi All, I ordered a QUAD IIC_MIDI MODULE BOARD a while ago at smashtv but didn't receive anything and mail is not answered so i was wondering if anyone else has a spare Quad IIC pcb lying around. I know Tim is quite busy but i want to finish my Midibox ;) My location is the Netherlands. Cheers! Niels
  19. Hey leuk! kom zelf ook uit Alkmaar, zie net je locatie langskomen :)

  21. I am also curious about if there is a batch #4 coming up since i am really interested in this great case design.
