FS: Emu DWAM 6862 Option Board Clone for E5000 / E6400 Ultra Sampler
ilmenator replied to ilmenator's topic in Fleamarket
Hi, insured and tracked shipping to France is 16,49€ with DHL. -
I have a bunch of these excellent industry grade Densei-Lambda (now TDK-Lambda) ZWS150AF-5 switching power supply units for sale - they have been removed from fully working LED display cabinets (the kind you use in LED walls). They are 100-240V AC input and 5V / 30A output, that is a whopping 150W of output power at 5V! These will power any MIDIbox project with ease, no matter how many LEDs / displays you want to use... Cable harnesses included as in the pictures. Asking price is 15€ each plus shipping. Located in Germany. A data sheet can be found over at Mouser: ZWS150AF5/J Datasheet (PDF)

No, the DWAM board is only compatible with the Ultra series samplers, not the classic ones. -

A version v1.2 is now available - the only difference is that it allowed me to use components that were still available. Please send PM or reply here if you are interested. -
How much do you ask for the stm32F4 discovery board?

It's still available. PM me with your location for a shipping quote. -
Sorry I never got back to you. Apparently, the notifications don't work (again). For now the problem has been solved, I might get back to you at a later time - thank you very much anyways!

Ist das noch aktuell? Ich könnte mal nachschauen ob ich sowas noch in der MIDIbox-Kiste habe. VG, ilmenator

As the title suggests: for a university project team I need one more discovery board so that each team member can work on the project from home. Anyone with a spare board please help. We are located in Köln / Germany. Thanks! -ilmenator

Up for grabs is a clone of the EMU DWAM board (Model 6862) for the EMU Ultra series of samplers. It provides the ASCII port for connecting an ASCII keyboard to the sampler, a second set of MIDI ports, Wordclock in and out ports as well as AES/EBU ins and outs. Also included ist the AES chip that must be fitted into the socket on the Ultra series' mainboard. This is a rare item, 6862 boards have been sold out long ago, which is the reason why I built this in the first place. It is 100% compatible with the original. Please drop me a PM if you are interested, or comment here. Asking price is 165€ plus shipping.

If you are talking about the MIDI-IO modules, I have some spare PCBs (my own layout, but functionally identical). Located in Germany, too. EDIT: Got that wrong, it cleary says DIN... Sorry!
-
Hi Moritz, falls du die anderen Boards anderweitig auftreibst: ich habe hier noch einen Stapel MIDI-IO Boards liegen. Viele Grüße, ilmenator
-
Sure, I can do that for you, but it might not be very practical - if anything goes wrong there is no easy fix for you. The safest way to go about this would certainly be to have the MIOS bootloader burned into the PIC, and you take it from there... I still have some 452, 4620 and 4685 kicking around.

Same here for anyone from Germany or even Europe. I was just contacted by rio and found out I still have plenty of these 18F 8-bit PIC chips, and also a functional toolchain. Just shoot me a PM if interested.

There should be a sticker on the fader itself - can you make a photo of it and post it here? That would help identifying your options.
-
If anybody wants to use these with different switches than the Marquardts, there are still some BLM v2 PCBs available from the original creator, see the WIKI.

Finally someone spreads the word. But apparently they got the price tag wrong. It's listed a costing € 599,-, hopefully it doesn't turn people off when they realize that that is just the essential kit alone.
