  1. Hey... Just started playin with the seq proper but am havin a few props trying to work out a few things: 1. say i have track1 assigned to notes and 2, 3, and 4 assigned to cc's - how/where can i set the cc i want to control on tracks 2, 3, and 4? Say cutoff on track2, res on 3 etc then each knob of that track would be a diff value for that param giving a steppy result... 2. How does the layer assign menu work? 3. Am i right in thinking i can create patterns of sequences and save these to the 10 internal banks and then be able to switch between them on the fly? This h/w sequencing thing is new to me! ;p lovin it tho...:) Nice... Dan
  2. Hey Neb... Yes, i thought a single board would be a good idea too!! How's about doing one so it'll be able to fit an exsisting C64 case ;p including mounting holes. some midi leds wudnt go a miss either - just use that section from the LTC module... Yup, as far as i know :) Again i think so - i'm using the SID logic enviro now and it effects all four SIDs similtaneous when params are adjusted ;) - supreme sid fatness !! Peace... Dan
  3. hey pay... i had read the previous posts - but from ur's i wasnt clear if u meant the pcb from that magazine or one you've done urself... i think a digi out for the SID is overkill neway ;p just record it at 24bit and damn is it crunchy!! ;) nice... Dan

  5. Hey... As i understand a full featured MBLC/MC will require >1A, here's the PSU i'll be making for mine: Yes, from core info text: For my quad SID i'm using one wallplug (15V 750mA) to power the lot (4 cores, 4 sids, lcd ...) i've 2 cores with the psu components stuffed feeding the other 2 cores (from J2) without the psu components stuffed, i originally just had one core with the 7805 etc stuffed and the other 3 without - but it got very hot, still gets hot now but all is workin fine...;) Best... Dan
  6. hmm, missed this i think ??? pay_c - have u made a module for the SID to give a digital output and are asking if Mike could make the board u've designed and see who would buy one if so? Great if so!! what ic's are u using - is it a simple board to do? Then again, i mighta got the wrong end of the stick here ;p Best... Dan

  9. Hey T.... Heh. i'm still yet to get that deep on the possibilties - been having fun just pressing a single a note and hearing the 4 sids singing ;p Can't wait for that day! full-on control is gonna be awesome! Best... Dan

    MIDIbox LC V1.1.2

Cheers T.. ye, that all makes sense and I should know it already ;p it's just i was stuffing the DOUT modules (i put 4 on a single board - saves cutting! ;p and chained them with additional tracks. So I wanted to make sure how many resitors etc to leave out on the last DOUT for the led rings/meter leds and MTC digits...guess i'll need to add another dout for the MTC tho... Ta... Dan

    MIDIbox LC V1.1.2

Hey T... I'm back on LC mode and have started getting the boards ready as so - will be waiting for the the next release to go in proper, which brings me to these q's: WRT to the additional LED meters forthcoming - will that be just like another 8 LED rings, so 16 in total (1xDOUT for both 8 rings) and also the LED digits for MTC display - i noticed the LC has 10 (12 includ the assignment ones) will this just be implemented on a dout module? The pdf describes using 8 of em, is the using the further ones possible? I notcied Axel has them on his LC station already tho ;p Peace... Dan
  12. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Had to smile... got the quad SID/BStep beasty roarin'!! After reading a post suggesting to re-use the ol C64 case - i've done this: (may be useful to any others doin the same with regards as to where place sockets etc..) 14. i have different results with ic-prog everytime i reinstall xp - for instance, now it works in API mode... with a delay of 1...before it was only doable in direct mode...long as the fikker toasts good tho - i'm happy ;p peace... Dan
  15. btw.. Rowan, i notcied this TB card also has a digi i/o - located on the card itself via four pins. Is there anyway i can do a similar hack u done? Ta... Dan
  16. Hey... I'm runnin a Pulsar2 on the main logic DAW, and have a turtlebeach montega (it was gratis;p) in a 2nd comp - used to handle all MIDI i/o routing (MIDIoverLAN sends it to the logic DAW), also got vstack installed to handle a couple of vsti's (controlled in logic via MIDI as regular synths)... Nice... Dan //
  17. damn T, this wudda been a worthy post for ur 1000th!!! :))) ... Now what will that be ??? ;D :o
  18. indeed, much abliged!! ;D Dan
  19. yes, u can use as few pots as u like - the same goes with buttons and leds... as you say u just need a core - from there u could just add AIN modules with a single 4051 stuffed for 8 pots (clamp unused to ground). The same goes for the DIN module - only 1 IC stuffed, rest of the inputs can be left open... best... Dan
  20. Heyhey... more fun n games eh :P... Smash, seen u mentioned dacs there - just wondering if you knew anything on the adc front? I posted this in the misc forum a while back... http://www.midibox.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=misc;action=display;num=1048154479 ...if you've any pointers - it'd be appreciated... Best... Dan

  23. Hi... Is it possible to not have the MB64 send out all the pot values whenever you change banks? The reason I ask is because I have a logic enviro that uses all 127 cc's accross 16 chans to handle vol/pan/sends etc but when i change to another bank on the MB (I have 16 buttons for bank slection) all these levels get screwed up as it sends out all the values of the pots... Cheers... Dan

  25. Hey T... Great! Yup, having it send out a CC or NRPN would be great but i'm abit at a lost with what to do with that MIOS_MIDI_TxBufferPut function you mentioned... ??? Thanks... Dan
