  1. i used injet transparcies on a 50 quid laser i got and it worked just fine - just attach to a paper backing sheet and print on the shiny side. Then iron on like PNP....:)
  2. now that is summin! :D Congrats...again!!! Axel, I see XLR's and a monitor/mix section - could u pls provide details on this analog i/o...:D stunned... D
  3. yes - as i said, the ground on the encoders are all tied together (u can see this) and the single wire that comes from the star gnd point goes to any gnd pin on DIN/CORE/Whatever...then the enocders themselves just go to the 2 dinputs - I hope ur not connect them to 1 gnd pin / 1 input pin of the DIN... really is straightforward tho so until I can see what u've done and how uve connected shit I got no idea really...
  4. try and post some pics if u can
  5. Hey... http://www.mitsutech.com.tw/spec/elo2310saw.pdf The above is the datasheet for the controller used on a flat panel / touch screen I've seen...would mios intergration be possible on summin like this>? Best Dan
  6. is there any other seq...? :P
  7. okay.... what test firmware are u using? Not the 'single' encoder driver app I hope? ;p I used and tested those encoders fine with enc_example3_v1_3 - all worked so ur connex must be a-miss.... when u say +, u mean +5V right? (Vdd) - that's just wrong! wrong, wrong, wrong...;p keep faffling Dan
  8. jimminy... the encoders dont go to any +. only din inputs and gnd... I think u got the encoder panel from me no? If so, the single wire is a comman gnd of all the encoders and is to be wired to any gnd pin (eg: on din or core). The encoder's each have they're own 2 pin plug as I remember - just connect that to the din inputs as in the encoder hook-up pdfs...pretty straightforward so no need to lost! best Dan

  11. Hey T... Great, thanks :) You want one of those joysticks popped in the post? :) Best Dan
  12. Hey T... Went to update my sid box to the latest mios 1.6 / sid 1.6 firmwares and noticed that the sid_ain.inc file is kinda blank now. Cut along story short I ended up copying this one over my workin 1.5 sid_ain.inc file (setup for 2 pots). I then thought I could just get the 1.5 rls on the site which should have the ain driver like before - but now the file in that is same as 1.6 too - no code :/... Have u got the code from before? Where u can set what pots do what.... Best Dan
  13. Damn T!! You dont hang about dooya!! :D Inspiring...once again! best Dan
  14. HeySteve Ye it works - just need to keep pressing the write f/w button in logic setup page everytime u fire up the prog - least I gotta... Best Dan
  15. http://web006.pavilion.net/users/nickfull/chrome.htm anyone tried this?
  16. Use the select (box made outta dashes) tool to select all the shit u need to move, then right click the whole selection to move...
  17. Hi... This was tested on a fresh XP/logic install... hehe - now that would be nice! but alas no - 1st core = main LC controls. 2nd core = extra 16x2 lcd for smpte/beats display and a pot for master fader. 3rd core = MBTV core :) Nope, I'm using 5.5.1 - s'all we PC logicians got left :/ Damn u apple!!!! Not that I'm bitter :P Cheers Dan
  18. Hey T... MIOS Power user eh... im honoured - tho i think a MIOS floundering user might be more apt ;p neway...to mios 1.6... Loaded it up on all 3 cores, and then slapped me LC f/w's on and fired up logic...once again logic wouldnt recognose the box (using to-comm) however, I went to the LC setup page in logic and added one manually. Still no reaction on the LCD to acknowledge this (stays in the default title screen) again tho, i can still control the faders - weird. So I then tried clicking on the 'write firmware' button and logic said this: The same text was also displayed on the lcds - hoorah! if I click 'ok' it just keeps coming up with that message, if i click cancel all is good and working fine (track info shows up on lcd's etc etc) :D only thing is, I have to repeat the process everytime I open logic...but hey we have some progress! :) Nice1 Dan
  19. interesting TK - i wonder if this is why I cudnt get a multi-core LC to work properly with the LTC to-comm option...? Dan
  20. hey... If ur using crimps and those headers u need a crimping tool - these can be pretty pricey. I picked mine up from reichelt which was fairly priced... However, tinning the header pins and wires and then soldering the 2 together with just the heat of the iron gives a clean and tight connection! :) crimps, connectors, tools etc all mount up money wise...! Dan
  21. Hey Gilles... I wudnt bother with those guys unless ur in germany...they never respond to emails!! Useless!! >:( Dan

    yummmm

Not sure yet - thought about perhaps using them in another LC, mebbe leave out the motorfaders as I can use these in place of both faders and encoders - would need another 3 of these tho... £5 each - ebay lovage :D
