There is a diffrence yes but it does not influence the project. My pcb's were from mike. I had no problems with it. If you like silk screening (where the compenents are printed on the pcb) then buy the stuff from smash.

And here are the modifications you should keep in mind.

In my view the board looks like it is supposed to be. 1 big size that fits niceley in a housing without getting all that messy with wires and still have the hands on for control. If you are cloning you are cloning. He is not creating a new drum machine. So moogah i want that thing as it is now do not change much i like it. But jaicen gots a point about those jumpers. This way you give a bit of freedom to those whom wish to tweak.

Yeah it is based on a pic 842 just like we use here. I have no idea what it is gonna cost. You can buy the pcb with pic and if you liek join the groupbuy's case/lcd screen buttons etc. Lettme know if you go for every groupbuy or pcb only. When they get that far i will let you know the prices.

Jaicen, I can order an extra pcb for the 303 sequencer. And send it to you when released. But i cannot promise you that it will ever will be launced. As said earlier it is in a test/design fase. uncertian when it will be released. Regards, Jeffry

This is only a 303 sequencer and it is still in development. The community is very tight and the 303 clones are not being released anymore. Please do not ask them about it. It pisses them off ;D. There is a groupbuy for the 303 sequencer pcb but they will not release the source and no gerbers i think. Release date unknown. When they are ready i can buy a few extra for some people here since it is hard to join the acidcode community. If you want a 303 clone go to the ladyada website.

It is MySQL yes. Yesterday i created a full backup script and made a cron. A full backup is running now every week and uploaded to my home ftp server. Thank's for thinking, but all is covered now. All the best, Jeffry

Do not get me wrong but i liked the idea. And you did not step on anyones feet. I will keep you in mind if i might consider a diffrent kind of backup or something else. on the other hand. I cancelled the backup service as i discovered it is backupped on the same server and not on another one. For me a backup is not needed this way. As it makes no sense. So i am going to make a cron job that makes backups and those backups will be downloaded until the backup service is going remote. this is going to happen as more customers complained about this. The currentbandwidth i set for midibox is 30GB as i allowed picture hosting as well. I never knew backup was not included in my package. It costs 2 dollars a month per gigabyte on my whole server. If it is any comfort for you. I never succeeded uploading mios with a m-audio device. This includes the delta and the midisport. I use a cheap live 5 card from creative to upload midi stuff. Works like a charm.
