Hmm going very off topic now but i cannot resist. Man is that you with the ponytail hahaha nice going i like the word pyrotechnician. So you may set things on fire for a living how awsome is that. (assuming that that is you). You have an very nice day job. I would trade instantly. As for the arcade suff we are going to discuss this privately a bit more when i start building my cabinet :) Cheers, Jeffry
Tim, What shows do you do (i believe it's arcade and pinball if i am right?) i would love to see some pictures. And your service it's most excellent. People should consider that you are running a non commercial shop. But you deliver such a good job that new people think you do run commercially. So you can forgive them for asking those idiotic questions. I know i would have done it if i was new here. Keep up the good work and i might place an order in the future ;)
LOL i know you are being sarcastic (no need for that since he was asking a normal human question), but to follow up i once saw on the googlish website he has an CNC router in his barn collecting dust hehehe so why don't we just rip him of his last piece of private life and start sending him frontpanels in autocad format ;D ;D ;D ;D
Sometimes i really wonder what goes trough someone's head. Sorry to say this but if you change copyright by making a copy of something existing then you are just a plain fart that does not even sounds good!
Thorsten this whole upload thingie is very unclear. I install jsynthlib and configure it. Set sid to channel 1 All cool. I have 1 bankstick installed. I do the following: I load the 128 patches in jsynthlib by "right click BANK and select store" This uploads all 128 patches to the Bankstick. Me is very happy. Now i wish to load the core. Well it does not work the same way. So i choose to upload them 1 by 1 1st i do not know how to bypass the stick so i yanked it out of it's socket. Now i try to upload patch. Patch 1 ok I select on control panel patch 2 (which is empty) I upload patch 2 ???? Patch 1 is affected and patch 2 is still empty? So i select sid 2 and do the same thing ??????? patch is loaded but core is affected too? This happens also when link button is enabled. Now what is the correct procedure to upload the 128 patches to the slaves and core? regards, Jeffry
Hello Stef, First get the bootloader on the chip. (if you bought one with the bootloader on it forget this step. Install the MIOS software Then install the midibox_fm software. Done. Good Luck Well i hope this is what you mean. Jeffry
The export filter is 99 Euro. i was planning on a na engraving service for midibox but the whole cnc thingie is too complex for me still. And cost alot to build one.
Dear Asbak, This is a wonderfull tutorial and initiative. However we have a wiki in progress we use that as a faq and tutorial. I certainly hope when it is available to the public you can contribute to it the same way you did here. Regards, Jeffry
pwx, Have you got any other midibox related stuff? For testing? Try asking the same thing over at http://mpc-forums.com they will blame the midibox for sure ;D ;D But that community is so big there might be just the person for you. Regards, Jeffry
Robert, I am Jeffry and i am an asshole. To keep my status i ask you the following: 1st Did you ever helped some here on the forum? 2nd Have you ever build a midibox and shared information? 3rd Have you contributed to the community with your own written code? 4th Have you contributed to the community with a how to build manual? 5th Have you contributed to the community with a frontpanel design? 6th Have you contributed to the community with a case design? 7th Have you shared your resources on getting parts needed? 8th Have you shown respect and gratittude towards Thorsten of what he has given to the community? Since you do not comply with any of those the awnser is a big YES!. Now stop whining like a little child whom's mom say'd "no you cannot have that candy eat your dinner first" My advice stop it now make a new start and do those 8 lines. And then we discuss this again. period. Thank you for reading.
