  1. hi, the blue led need more curent than other,maybe you have to change the resistor on DOUT according to this fact. and the blue ones often more! this quote is taken from this page: http://www4.tpg.com.au/users/talking/25mA.html but i can't affirm that it's the source of the problem you have ,if the current @ your core is only 5V ,maybe is too less ,my seq have the same problem if i put my wall transfo on only 6,5V ..

  5. yes ,look for the "MIDI implementation chart" ,and in the manual ,all the program change numbers are the most often listed.

Thanks , for the step button mod ,it's seem to be too complicate for me ,i will see that later... you say: it's look like the routine for the menu button ,but why is now BSF ,as i want to "disconnect" the seq_mod0_menu" from my gp menu buttons? you're right ,i just start to learn programming ,and i'm still waiting for my first "real" books (those that you can read in you'r bed) , so... thanks again.

    Hi , i've spend the last evenning playing with my seq and the new drum mode ,it's a bit "bizzaroid" but very effective after understanding how it work!!! But i've notified that some time steps of different layer are "exclusive" ,if you turn one , the same on layer two won't be played ,it's the bug you fix on the new release of MIOS ? the matter maybe come from the way the synth i drive with the SEQ deal with its drums patch ,but i haven't notified any polyphony problem before, so ?... another thing : why the trigger mode stop the playing? here is way to avoid that?
  9. Hi , i didn't think that my Box could appear here ,after the great one of Albert!! Great thanks to T.K. , Smash TV and Mike & Claudia for their support !!! about pics of the inside ,i don't think everyone can learn something of my work ,unless you want to learn about "spaghetti" cookin !! :) ,or if you want to know what you must avoid absolutly . The advise i can give : never use buttons you have to screw on the panel (and the ones have choose are really too cheap ,i think some of them won't go over a year!) ,because you will have to work with the panel besides you until you finish your box ,it's why you can see on mine some scare and other defects . The inside of the Tatapoum seq :http://www.tatapoum.net/photos/seq/will be a better exemple!!! i will start now a second Seq , with this time 4 row of buttons ,and additionnal piezzo trigger (T.K. :why the trigger fonction stop the playing? Is a way to have the same fonction ,with the playing going on ?

  11. Hi ,i've finished my first seq ,so i started to build my second one ,this time with four rows of butons.. T.K. in an precedent topic told me how to program the revisited seq.butons.inc .So ,following his advises ,i've done a new project in mplab ,the fact the "build" process succeeds with no error does mean that the apps will run fine ,i'm curious ,it's the first time i really tweaks the code so .... secondly ,to make me things easier ,and as i've got encoders with integrated switch , i have added 64 step buttons and will use the encoders switchs for the menu access , keeping the now useless "menu" bouton input that i will connect to the encoders switchs .But it's mainly because of my lack of knowledge in programing! So i've just removed the lines in the seq_gp.inc file . Even if i've link my step butons directly to the " SEQ_GP_Mode0_Button" of the seq_gp.inc ,I don't find how to remove this step that consist in verify if the "menu" butons is pressed or now ,in order to branch directly the gp butons directly to the different menus. i hope all that is not too confuse ,maybe someone can help me? P.S. :as i will have 4 rows of butons ,could i implement a fonction to switch the four row and the attached LEDs to edit the 3 layers of note events when a track is in the new "drum" mode?

Pilo ,excuse du temps de réponse! ,je te mail un fichier traduit tel que T.K. les veux , y'a des trucs enlevés ,rien d'ajouté! pour les fichiers gen que tu m'a envoyé ,il vont pas ,je sais pas vraiment pourquoi ,j'ai noté aussi qu'un des noms de fichier ne correspondait pas à la page ! Sinon ,comme Thorsten veut que les pages traduites n'est pas été chargées plus d'un jour ou deux avant que je lui renvois ,je les charges au fur et à mesure en htlm et supprime ce qu'il m'a dit !

Salut ,et bienvenu!! je vais répondre au moins à une ou deux de tes questions ,la plus crique d'abordd'importance: tu peux soit utiliser un PIC18F452 ,c'est celui-ci qu'il faut prendre absolument pour toutes les nouvelles applications basés sur le MIOS(le SEQv2 notament), et si tu veux pouvoir faire tes updates sans module JDM (commandes-le "bootstrapé" chez Smash TV ou Mikes Midishop), ou l'ancien PIC16F877 ,si tu veux ,mais ça n'a plus aucun intérêt ,vraiment aucun!!( - pour les 64 leds ,rien de compliqué ,tu fait un module DOUTx4 normal ,plus un DOUTx1 ,ou tu fait un x4 normal ou tu ne montes que le premier shift register et les résistances correspondantes! Eensuite tu suis simplement le schéma du PDF suivant :""tiens ,ce disant ,je m'en rend compte qu'il a disparu des downloads du SEQv2!!!!""" et qui se nomme donc :"mbseq_dout_v2_ledmatrix.pdf", En fait ,je pense qu'il n'y est plus car en construisant mon SEQ je me suis rendu compte que l'ordre cablage des cathodes été inversé sur le PDF, je me pensait fou ,peut-être avais-raison... en tout cas je peux t'envoyer le PDF si il ne réapparait pas d'ici quelque jour sur le site.. -pour l'afficheur 7 segments :"http://www.ucapps.de/mios/led_digits1_v1_3.zip" ,aprés ,c'est plus compliqué (pour moi en tout cas), il y a des tables dans cet exemple ,tu doit pouvoir les recycler. Dans l'application du sequencer ,tu peux obtenir la valeur du BPM avec la fonction: après ,pour l'envoyer vers les tables etc... ???, je compte le faire pour mon prochain sequenceur ,mais ça m'a l'air un peu ardu vu mon niveau actuel!! -les encodeurs "detended" ont une détente ,ils tourne par "pas" à peine sensibles ,les non-detended n'en ont pas ,il tourne en continu ,comme des potars normaux :certaines applications requierent des "non-detented" afin d'avoir une meilleure résoultion : si tu veux la version française ,faut que t'attende un peu la traduction est en cours!! ;)

    tatapoum :my LCDs was a bit pale too , with not enough constrast , so i change the voltage of the supply to a bit more than 9v (9,3v) and tweak a bit the two variable resistor on the core : all go fine (but i use a led matrice for the step ,so i was thinking that there is too many leds (and i use orange ones) for the standard voltage... you don't seen mine !

  17. si ,il vont bien ,mais j'ai pas trouvé l'éditeur de texte qui convient ! donc T.K. m'a dit finalement de faire différement ! (y'a tjours soit un problème de liens ,soit de caractères spéciaux ,soit de mise en page ....) donc j'édite les pages htlm avec NVU et aprés j'enlève tout ce qui se trouve avant et aprés les "header" et "footer" ,c'est un peu laborieux mais je m'en sort bien comme ça!

  19. hi , i'm not sure to understand what you mean when you write : but do your light gear (do you plan to use gradator?) have midi input (i never saw such a thing)? if you want to use the analog input of gradator ,they work with 0-10V control voltage ,i'm not sure that you can do that with the MIDIbox ; and if you plan to use the DMX inputs ,the protocol isn't the same than for MIDI protocol . Or maybe i've missed something?
  20. it's possible in Logic in the environment windows ,simply use the module that filter events ,i don't remenber exactly how to do but i've already done one some time ago. I can send you a .LSO file to load in logic with such a splitter if you can wait until tomorrow..or too later in the night...
  21. hi , it's solved ,it was just the pin assignement in the main.asm that doesn't match with my seq (why? i don't know ,i've followed the "Dout seqV2 ledmatrix.pdf" ) ,i 've changed the order (the first was the last) and it's run ! and run realy fine ,the pics today..
  22. e.g. your keyboard is sending events on channel 1 , and the app split note upper C4 to channel 1 and notes beside C4 to channel 2 , it's the classic keybord split fonction you can find on many multitimbral synth (one part of the keyboard play the bass (or what you want) ,the other the pad ( or what you want)..

  24. you can still do this with LOGIC Audio in the environment page , and in cubase , you can also do this on pc using synth édit ,so i suppose you can do that with maxMSP and other apps like this...
  25. salut , le b40c800 n'est pas un régulator ,c'est un "bridge rectifier " ,ou si tu préfère un "pont de diode ,qui n'est vraiment nécessaire que si tu Alimentes ton module en AC ,tu peux le récupérer et le remplacer sur le core par un pont de diodes(4 diodes " 1N4001" ,c'est sur la page d'Ucapps sur le CORE) si t'alimentes ton core en AC (courant alternatif) ,ou par rien du tout si c'est en DC ,mais c'est pas prudent de supprimer tout car ça te protège en cas d'inversion malencontreuse des pôles de ton alim...(et la polarité compte en Courant Continu (DC)
