  1. Note that not all old keyboards have individual switches that can be reused! I bought more than few of those old keyboard on flea market. At first I thought the clickery ones have individual buttons because one I already disassembled sounded and felt the same as the one I found later and it wasn`t usefull. So, I find no rule. Some old keyboards have one piece that holds attenuators, springs and contacts as seen on C64 keyboard.
  2. I wouldn`t agree with that. It is not turntable that needs preamp. Every line output must fit every line input. I wouldn`t rely on that card when doing a gig. Some galvanic isolation maybe isn`t that expensive. Check http://www.trafco.co.yu/ Maybe they can make you one. I bought 2x15V 30VA torus for something more than 10EUR from them recently and it is top class!
  3. I was thinking of that too inspired by Revolution. And even it is true loop representation in-line can be much more compact. I doubt there are already some circular SEQs around, and common in line wouldn`t match the POV display well.
  4. I have M-Audio Delta1010LT for some time and I can say that card works very good for me, and never cosed me any problems. I think it is great card for that money but some other products maybe are not so good. I talked to a TOS the other day... he bought FastTrack Pro and he had so much troubles because that card is very sensitive output... some Yamaha amp that it was hooked on has cosing the problems. He said he found out on some forum other people having same problems with that model.
  5. I love POV and propeller clocks. Make sure you watch POV rotating globe at youtube. Absolutely stunning. I think POV display would be cool addition to SEQ, but same time I think it would not be very comfortable to use... buttons in line and their representation in circles. :-\ Anyway, I`d like to build it. ;)
  6. Mike, welcome back. Hope you are all right now. Sorry to heart about rare parts. I think mouser order is necessary as seams only they have those double pots and also 733P are also there. Not sure about the shipping price to UK. Have you ordered ever from mouser? When I was looking for some nice jacks I stumbled across this website www.smallbearelec.com. On their homepage it says: So I guess they can help us get the parts from mouser at reasonable shipping price. What do you think of that option?
  7. As this Stomp Box Adapter PCB is pretty simple I redraw it in Corel and EPS file is attached in this post. I don`t know is it legal as I didn`t find PCB artwork published, but as the schematic is free I hope this could be too. Hope You`ll find it useful. adapter.zip adapter.zip
  8. Consi, Thank you for answer. I find your English not so bad as I was expecting. :) Think this forum is the good place to improve it if you are active. ;) I didn`t used English regularly since school too. Firefox auto spell checker is also very helpful.
  9. I am interested in building Ken Stone Adapter myself but seams all the links from the page are broken. Are these PCBs artworks freely available as that DOD 280 compressor? Somebody tried DOD 280? Is there any other tonepad FX that some of you liked using with synths? EDIT: Are there any disadvantages using LED and LDR instead of optoelement?
  10. That sounds much better than babelfish translation but same time less funny :) Thank you Nils. Consi, that controller looks very good. I`m interested how you control the light? What software it is and what kind of hardware interface is it? Is it just for fading or something more complex like light head moving and such? I hope it is not bih problem for you to answer. There is much of us here with bad school English. ;)

    Hello all

    ;D ;D ;D
  12. What can we do to inspire you more? I really liked what you did by far. I don`t think I`ll be soon "Living La Vista Loco" ;D

    Hello all

Cool. Looking forward to see it. :) Cimo wanted to say he is DJ-ing in Thursday, but I think he is using computer, so that is maybe incorrect phrase in his case. ;D
  14. ;D ;D ;D That post about special rare part really made my day. I have some NOS so if somebody need it I`ll give it for free ;)

    Hello all

Hello Carlos. Welcome aboard. That is one serious machine! I love the labels on Spanish. :) It would be cool to see it in action, so If you are thinking about publishing some video I support you. ;)
  16. Thank you Gan! ;)
  17. Yes, this is serious. Once I farted and I can even feel the fluids coming towards Eustachian tube! Because of that experience I decided to never fart again. ;D ;D ;D
  18. I like this one! ;D ;D ;D
  19. And that Omron are some HQ buttons? I bought buttons locally and even don`t know who make them but I`m not that much concerned will they last. I`m sure they can handle at least 15000 strokes.
  20. That is what I always desperately trying to do, and in x0x case even more. I must admit I had some radical ideas like cutting the PCBs but first x0x will not be so radical. I really want to make first one to work and while I`m playing with it I can continue with special x0x as I wanted at first place. Seams we having similar approach. :) I will do the same fro my illuminated buttons as no enough space for good mounting illumination LEDs. There are, but more far light source are from button diffusor the better is look of button when illuminated. Of course, they can be side illuminated, but effect isn` the same.
  21. Sorry Asaf, no more PBCs. I ended with 3 PCBs more than ordered first time but as that batch was (half) faulty I had to returned it back. PCB company didn`t send me more than ordered of corrected PCBs. But, I`ll be probably doing another batch again.
  22. Thank you LoopStar for showing here and giving your thought about 303 sound. I find this kind of discusions very interesting. As 7 days have passed I`ll reveal the truth. :) x0xb0x 1 has 2SC536F x0xb0x 2 has 2SC945P But as LoopStar said, there are other things that affects the sound and we must agree that no 303 sounds the same. They are designed and made to be cheap affordable compact units and not reference synthesizers so they surely differ from each other.
  23. Have you not heard about anti electrostatic carpets? ;D
  24. ;D ;D ;D I`m glad I`m not only one here feel sentimental for my parts ...and some hot tools ::)
  25. I did that too once, but when I unscrew all the pots for mounting them onto real panel I ended with fishing net full of pots. I realized than only real solution is what guys from OCC on Discovery doing... Build a whole bike, disassemble it, did the painting, chroming and assemble it again. Alot of work I would like to avoid but that is the only right way to go.
