Falsch, es sind nicht immer alle LEDs an. Mit den Transis werden quasi die Reihen geschaltet oder so ähnlich. Die Reihen/Spalten sind aber nicht nur am Dout sondern auch an Din angeschlossen. Die LEDs gehen so schnell an und aus das du das gar nicht mitbekommst. ... glaub ich mal ;) habe auch noch das stichwort "invertierte matrix" im kopf

Das würd ich auch gerne mal genau verstehen ....

Edit: After looking into the usermanual it seems that its "relativly easy" to send the basic commands for text and basic shapes, which are needed at first. wohaa but that SD is also great. Both have a serial interface. That works with the MB platform. greetz

OK, the layout is on foil now, but I can't find any empty pcb atm. I am sure I have some left, but wheeeeere? Gonna ask myself would be the best. lol. I hope I find them today then i could report you very soon. greetz

As I already told "I can be totally wrong". Now I think/know I am wrong ^^. There are not much people out there which can handle all such things when they come here. But as a computer science student you'll surely have some knowledge already ;) Most people here aren't heavy electronics. I really didn't ever want to get in any offence against you. Even I am very happy, that people join the forum who perhaps could help US midiboxers instead of the other way because of their knowledge. ;) I hope you know what I mean. And pleeeeeaassssee share that layout with the community here when you have it ready. Why I wrote that about selling boxes: We had a little $%§!§"! here which used somebodys layout for his midiboxes and is selling them on ebay. Somebody saw that layout offered on ebay in a working mb sid. So it COULD (!!) be, that anybody wants to to the same, just that he uses selfmade pcb's which cant be directly seen as a midibox. But when I think about it, it wouldn't be a good idea to ask here for any dimensions ^^. nils: Nobody is allowed to sell midiboxes without tk's permission. It's not like offering several pcb's in our forums fleamarket. greetz

First of all ... hi to the forum. I don't understand why you don't wait until wilbas 6582 is in smashs stock. you would only have to glue some pcb holders to the chassis. Then i see you are new here.... are you so familiar with pcb's that you can make such a big layout ? Why do you think it's better for you ? I don't suppose anybody who is not VERY familiar with electronics, pcbs and all the stuff can make such a big project running perfectly at once. Just if you hadnt read it! ITS NOT ALLOWED TO SELL MIDIBOXES !!! I just say this because I dont know any reason why you want to start in that way. Why dont you take the ready pcbs you can get? In a C64case nobody will see whats inside. But when lots of people should see this "one big" pcb for selling it, ..... see above. Surely i can be totally wrong, but I really wonder why you start like this. greeetz

Hiho Pascal und herzlich Willkommen ;) Wilba bitte nicht anschreiben, da dieser zur Zeit schon damit beschäftigt ist sein platinenlayout durch smash vertreiben zu lassen. Suche mal im Forum, da gibt ne Menge Lesestoff (und Bilder ;) ). Sobald es soweit ist wirst du das im Forum garantiert mitbekommen. Ansonsten kannst du dir ja mal für den Anfang was kleines bauen zum warmwerden ;) greetz PS: Preis für die platinen wird etwa 20$+ betragen. Also jeweils für main und control.

I have another issue, but perhaps its my laptop. I usually do autologin to the forum. but when i enter the mainpage i am not logged in. i have to click on a subforum to "activate" my account. now i can go to main again and i am logged in. Thank you Twin-x for your great support !

I have too agree Sasha, minor changes which can easily be seen, like his or mine (at least now ;) ) should be ok and recognizable by all who are affected by this person. Avatars are good to. If somebody is in a bulk order or has to be in contact with other people here, he should inform those about a changed nick you cant see directly. hmmm. thats what i think about it

Hast du noch transparente ? Wär ja der Hammer, brauch nämlich auch noch welche. Wenn ja wie viele? bräuchte 32. Würde auch die roten nehmen falls von den transparenten nich genug da sind, von den roten aber schon. greetz

Yes, I'll make these changes in the layout these days. I hope that I will find some time soon to etch a test pcb. I already have some 4311 lying around :D . I'll pm you my email address so you can send my the datasheet. And of course you will be the first who gets the pcb ;) . greetz
