  1. SmashTV wrote on page one: Unfortunately I lost or had very long customs delays with parcels sent to quite a few countries with Airmail, so I had to switch to Express Mail for those countries. If you are needing boards only and are in an 'Express only' country let me know, flat mailers are cheaper than will show up on the order page. Dender, we might be in luck if we just want the PCB's :D
  4. aesthetics perhaps :) hehehe, but 2x40 requires a change in the source right? so maybe that is the limiting factor right now (I may be wrong). unless there's a pre-compiled 2x40 hex file somewhere.
  5. isn't the 2x20 one pretty much 'optimized' for MB-SID? (except for the new up'n'coming 4x20... ofcourse) At least, the 2x20 display (or 20x2, whatever) is the one used by MIOS out of the box, right? If I understood the question correctly, XTheWoodX just needs to know which display is used as default display, without having to change any code and recompile MIOS/applications.
  6. PIC18F4685-I/P 40 PDIP -40C to +85C TUBE L is i think the low voltage version, you don't really need that, so that leaves this one
  7. Oooh, that LCD sure does look lovely. So it works just great in 4bits mode, as long as the non-used connetions are grounded? And it also works with the standard Midibox LCD cable? Goodie :) (I bought this LCD about a year ago, from that same ebay shop :P It's still waiting for me to start on a project :P)
  8. quite an efficient queue :) resource hoggers get taken to the back of the queue?
  9. I hope Smash TV's randomizer can keep up with the number of people in the set!
  10. sorry about that :) I was just reading up a bit in various threads and saw soundwriter mentioned here so I looked it up in the commodore 64 scene database, and soundwriter hasn't been added yet to the database.
  11. hurray for people putting by air mail stickers on packages! great valentine's gift ;) grin, knobs arrived today, and they look tasty. jum jum. Thanks Mr. E :-*
  12. patiently twiddling my thumbs.... (royal mail and dutch mail somehow manage to delay everything coming from the UK to me with 2-3 weeks or something :( just that combination.. I don't get it, slow pokes @mail :P)
  13. just get yourself some account over at microchip.com, and sample the PIC's (got loads of pics that way, ranging from the original 18F4520 orsmth, to the newer 18F4685, and some 16F's for other projects, and the ram chips :D) just wait a long time in between orders and write up some nice description for whatever bogus project they might want to know about). You'd need to bootstrap them yourself though...
  14. hmmmmmmm why can't I find soundwriter in the release database of CSDB? (http://noname.c64.org/csdb, where all serious sceners convene :P)
  15. looking forward to the knobs :D getting >......................< that much closer to collecting all parts for my rendition of the mb-sid :D
  16. mine arrived on the 24th apparantly, bit knackered box, been away from the office for 2 weeks so hehe :) anyways, i guess they're allright, will have a look this evening when i get home.
  17. take it easy :) some things are more important than some simple knobs (although the update is much appreciated on my side)
  18. maybe change the topic title in the openingspost, if that is still possible without admin intervention
  19. thanks for the updates, I kinda got a bit worried that it might not follow through after all, but glad it's still on track! And what Nils says: no need to rush, awesome job anyways :D Can't wait to restock my c64's with their original sids (it never hurts to have a couple of machines spare for playing around :D)
  20. Just made the payment. Saves me forgetting about it ^_^
  21. wow, that's some tough stuff :( good that the seller is so understanding! looking forward to the results
  22. they look good. anyone have some action shots of the knobs on finished projects? need to decide between grey and red (will send you a pm in time G, thanks for your pm too btw!)
  23. you can put be down for "standard european" with insurance (EUR 5.50 s&h if my calculations are correct) Hope the shipping is doing fine ;D
  24. well, he ordered 150, with 110 allocated to people so far (ok, maybe the count isn't up to date, but at least there is some room), just send a mail and see :)
