  1. Yes, but it's more like two diodes arranged back-to-back. Unfortunately you can't then use both LEDs at the same time, so you couldn't have a third "orange" state. The addressing of each LED state becomes a bit tricker too (I think).
  2. Thx! I notice the ENC28J60 (for MBHP_ETH) isn't too widely available (i.e. not at all in my Australasia). Bulk order? Or just add it to my next Mouser/Digikey order? Thanks heaps Seppoman! :)
  3. More panel size, power consumption, transmission issues and redundancy but: Two duplicate LCDs, one by the GP encs, one by the BLM?
  4. Great job of course TK! Question: do your hands/arms tend to get in the way of your vision for "Keyboard Mode" and would a workaround involve having zero velocity at the top? Or is that too-backwards thinking? P.S. Beer was sent a week or so ago ago
  5. Using your Ikea case idea the approximate size is 30 cm EDIT: by 40 cm. So approx. 7 rack units, plus a Wilba/TK SEQ is 10. That's quite a bit of real estate, and I'm wondering whether the SEQ belongs in the rack (MIDI'd to your synths) and the BLM on a keyboard stand/ table/ hand-held as a real performance instrument. Plus, it's gonna be battery powered and WLAN MIDI'd right? ;) I'd say people will have a lot of opinions on which buttons to use, my humble suggestion is to keep the layout as general as possible so peeps can choose. SPST tact switches usually have 200 mil pin spacing, correct?
  6. Maybe not the place to discuss this, but I was under the impression the BLM project was a cost-saving exercise, i.e. using ordinary tact switches with home-brew buttons ("feet") and RG LEDs to shine through, all on a double layer PCB of course! :) I was only asking of yours as you seem to be using the same switches and LEDs throughout the whole design.
  7. Madness! Are you going to DIY your own BLM??
  8. I'm in New Zealand, would consider ordering a few of these to send out to people if we could agree on a fixed format. Question: I think I remember a clear acrylic WilbaSeq panel a while back, is it robust enough to handle JB weld? Or judging from your drawing were you contemplating normal panel screws? Might be useful putting a thread in the Bulk Orders section? I don't have the PCB yet; I'd need one at some stage ;)

    weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! :) nice1
  11. very clever, the alignment still works? Or is some filing/shaving involved?
  12. WOW! :sorcerer:
  13. OARSUM I see a methyl group, the rarely used PPP transistor and what looks like a flux capacitor.
  14. Sure does. I was trying to superimpose the YT vid on top of Kanye, looked slightly better in the preview when it was all on one line. Howabout this: Not so funny when you have to explain. Have a nice day!
  15. Re: julianf Awesome work! Is this what we need to get a run of panels and WilbaSEQ PCBs on the way? Or has the motivation run dry? (Yes I did see Wilba's post a few days ago.) If it's a happening thing I'd be happy to help with whatever organising I could. Edit: I guess I'm assuming two things (typical of me, sorry): 1) Would julianf (or somebody else) be prepared or able to produce a large quantity of panels? 2) Would Wilba (or somebody else) be prepared to order a large quantity of PCBs and ship them? From Wilba's previous post, probably he is not keen to do this.
  16. noone CAReS?
  17. Nice, here's another one (not quite as fancy) from my side of the world: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Trons
  18. I'm having this problem too, how much current draw for should I expect for a SEQ V4, I get 1.3A on my 7805 which then thermally shuts down. Doin' it rong indeed.. If only a Wilba SEQ was easy to get a hold of...
  19. Hi there, and welcome. I think you missed out on this by about 11.5 months ;) You could start a new thread to see if anyone else is interested though.
  20. If you don't need motorfaders, you could use MBHP AOUT(_NG) instead? The complexity would depend on the required voltages for the EHX.
