I have the Alpha Juno1 since early 90ty and I really like it.

I Thought that MKS50 was the rack version but if J talk about only one oscillator per voice then is not the same.

Anyway I like it the same and time ago I lost it in a bid on Ebay for a bit...and the dude who won had MKS50 for less than 100 euros

Mks-50 is a Juno1/2 in a rack. Sad that you lost the auction :(

<100€ for a MKS-50 is insane, i had to pay slightly more and can´t await its arrival - that synth was a youthhood dream :)

Regarding OSCs: there is only 1 OSC on all Junos, but there is the famous sub-osc which nearly counts as a second OSC, and the lfo can also be employed - it is not a jupiter 8, but the sounds it creates are awesome, quite often simplicity (also in patch design) rules :)
