Kickflip Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 May be interested in a set here too, wondering though, the LED holes don't appear to be drilled on the photographs in the first post? Quote
ilmenator Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 May be interested in a set here too, wondering though, the LED holes don't appear to be drilled on the photographs in the first post? The whole thing looks like being covered with a Lexan overlay? Where did you order that? Quote
mrcam Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 Hello, Intéressé aussi par 1 panel pour une MB6582. Merci ! Quote
iZZE Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 Hello.. I am from Austria/Europe..i am also interested.. I would only need the Frontpanel. Are the led holes cut out ? Thanks Patrick Quote

reboot Posted November 3, 2010 Author Report Posted November 3, 2010 (edited) hello sorry for the delay .... the lexan panels i had have a problem as i didn't checked my illustrator file . i will organise a batch next week . price will be around 80 euros max . the lexan will have a window included like this .. http://picasaweb.google.com/catchreboot/MBSID#5359182162824829698 not here http://picasaweb.google.com/catchreboot/SidPanels#5509422095551359858 i can fix the lexan on the panel for you and spacers if you need . ilmenator, you're right , the leds are not drilled , it's like opaque film . same technique : http://audio.chernis-grant.com/pictures/ebay/minimoog/DSC01863.jpg Ize , i an do a panel in 2mm alu anodized or 1,5mm metal or 1,5 inox a bit like mirror but it can have imperfections . your impressions are welcome thank you Edited November 3, 2010 by reboot Quote
ganchan Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 well, seems good but, the next batch will have that imperfection on the lexan? about the imperfection, do you mean the one in the photo where the lcd button's holes in the lexan are not in place with the metal panel's holes? i've noticed in the first post, left photo, the bottom left screw seems like had flex the panel like it is made of plastic or thin metal, can you explain? :) thankyou. G. Quote
reboot Posted November 6, 2010 Author Report Posted November 6, 2010 hello ganchan, the next batch will not have the imperfection on the lexan , it concern just the laser cut . the flex you see is because i screw a bit too much , the lexan is like a thick sticker , i can cut the holes in 4mm or more . on the metal panel , the leds and buttons holes will be 4mm instead of 3 and 3,5mm , and window 1mm bigger. in this case it's impossible to see the panel after lexan fixed . pics very soon . reboot Posted November 6, 2010 Author Report Posted November 6, 2010 the back panel can be changed also so ideas are welcome. thanks Quote
ganchan Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 i like to see the panel with a led lighting in the back if it possible. if you had screw too much and flexed the lexan i can assume that this is 2mm or more.. i've never see a sticker on meta flexed with a screw, is too thin :) Quote
iZZE Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 I already have a Aluminium Panel.. as i dont know exactly what lexan is, will i be able to fit it over my panel ? i have a red eloxated one, but i would like black, so can i just put a black lexan overlay on it ? How much would it cost. Thanks Patrick Quote
reboot Posted November 9, 2010 Author Report Posted November 9, 2010 Patrick ,just the lexan ..40e it's very easy to fix it with water and soap . the lexan is 0,5mm (i suppose) thanks Quote
iZZE Posted November 9, 2010 Report Posted November 9, 2010 Any pictures of the lexan in action ? Thanks Patrick Quote
