  1. Like everyone else, depending on price
  2. Damn, they look beautiful. Wish I hadn't dithered :-\
  3. Count me in
  4. What's the final size of these panels? I want to scale my screen resolution so I can see them roughly life size for comparison. At the moment: But yeah put me down for one set of each, whichever design wins.
  5. OK, at those prices you can count me in for one of each.
  6. Bah! My 707 can do that
  7. People keep recommending "Thinking In C" to me - it's available online or in book form
  8. Looks awesome Sasha
  9. You can't touch this
  10. Maybe you can get independent X/Y readings by alternatively pulsing +5 to either side and reading from the other?
  11. Does yours look as good as the photo?
  12. Looking forward to more news about your board, seppoman! ;D
  13. Sorry guys, I just had to...
  14. That'll teach me to show you new ebay search terms!
  15. Darn it. If any spares turn up, could you put me down for one? Ta
  16. "Josh"
  17. Yeah, like why would you hide them?? Because they look like chips, and chips=digital? To a guitarist.
  18. Photographic precision encoder strips a photographic mylar film image of precision encoder lines. The overall length of the strip is about 15.5". The actual encoder image is about 13.5"L. I know there was a thread somewhere about DIY optical faders ...
  19. Just found this site selling tiny analogue FX boards. Each board is 1 3/8" x 2", assembled, comes with pots, switches and jacks, and US$40-50. They're designed to mount inside guitars. From the look of them, nothing you couldn't make up yourself from web schems and perf board, but still.
  20. Darn. You snooze, you lose.
  21. Mein gott that thing is a beast. My bandmate used to have one. It was frightening. In a good way.
  22. Ayup, I'll second that. And it's the godson of our favourite SID. 6 voices x 3 digital OSCs, analog CEM VCFs, loads of modulation. Well if we're going to start one of them: Machinedrum, Evolver, SH-202, TR-626 (for bending), Cheetah/Matrix, Yamaha TG-33 (Dave Smith design), Ibanez UE405 and a Simmons SPM 8:2 ;)
  23. :o You own a Kyma??? The top dogs in my stage rig are my Electribe EA-1 and my Roland PMA-5. Go on, laugh all you want. The top dog at home is undoubtedly the Roland System 100 (not the 100m)
  24. Have you added this to the Wiki?
  25. What about leaving the VIC on the C64 board and using it as a serial terminal?
