  1. Heheh yeh, so it's what I said, except no individually driven chip selects :) I did learn a cool thing from all this: fan-out has a name! hehehe ... I still don't see the limitation though.....doh. Use a midi note to select the stack? Use NRPN's? I dunno though, 16*126 CC's is a lot! Might be worth looking at some digi mixer manuals to see how they do it? Can't you store the original level in ram, so it's all controllable? Groovy! I'd say volume then, yeh. Yeh, I dunno how the chip works but worst case is that you have to save the level before you mute... Enjoy your break man!
  2. Oh heh I sent an old one! This one has btg and bra (also was missing) and is not case-sensitive and has the background colours missing, so it's easier to change for a white background, and is associated with inc and also asm files. Wiki: PIC ASM Highlighting
  3. Did you miss this in my first post ganchan? [quote name=stryd_one link=topic=11311.msg89340#msg89340 date=1209486777 However you won't need to do that for the standard measures like 1/3,1/12,4/3,3/8, etc, that's why midi clock is 24ppqn, its the lowest common multiple of all of the common figures. MMA were thinking about us heheheh
  4. LOL OK let's think about how to do this. Does anyone want to volunteer for certain parts of the project? Like, the matrix, or the minimal CS, etc... Obviously we'll all need to work as a team, but if we each focus on certain areas we'll be more efficient... I already know that the first addition to the code would be the presets, as supporting different chips requires it. We can start coding that right away, but we're gonna need hardware to test it. I have a serial bus analyser on my scope, so I can start with that, but nothing will compare to the real deal.... I think it would be good to write up a summary of what we're aiming for, and maybe some details of how to do it... What else?
  5. Yeh, mines got everything yours does, and then some... in addition, the way you implemented that prefix set cauld cause erroneous highlighting. sorry man! I notice yours is made for the default colour scheme, I reckon you could just make a copy of mine, with your colours in it instead, and I'll make them both available.
  6. You kinda need the preset keywords for other things :( (you can see in my file) I'm checking yours out now.
  7. Hot tips: measure three times, drill once clamp everything FIRMLY Use a drill press centre tap thoroughly, and consider starting the hole with a super high speed drill with a tiny bit in it - less friction means better accuracy. The big bit will follow the hole after that. Personally, I first punch it with a sewing needle, then a centre punch, a dremel bit, then a full size drill bit. With the drills, get the highest rotation speed possible, and slide the bit in and out s l o w l y . Keep i mind, that furniture and cabinet makers must drill their holes to very fine accuracy, so it is possible to do it :) HTH!
  8. Mine, for comparison. We should combine them and then I'll post it to the wiki page for downloading. Noone has complained about it yet, so I guess the testing was successful so far ;) Edit: BTW the list of keywords was built from a highlighting script for another editor, and a PIC14 highlight file for notepad++, and two other sources which I can't remember. userDefineLang.zip userDefineLang.zip
  9. .o files are object files, they are the output that GPASM creates. GPLink straps them all together and makes your hex file. With MIOS/GPUtils, we just specify the .o filename, and it will be created from the .c file by the same name. Enjoy :)
  10. LOL... I've been distributing one amongst forum members for testing since this thread was started ;) I hope you didn't put too much time into this. Anyway your attachment only has one line: <NotepadPlus /> :( and a little escamotage to have hexe number too. Does it work for the whole number, or just the 0x part? The notepad++ forums said that for it to work like the inbuilt ASM language, you'd have to rebuild the lexer....
  11. Step one: Know what it should sound like. Step two: See if it does. Maybe you should consider sending the SIDs to a trusted forum member to do the testing for you? Of course you'd have to make it worth their while, but it seems like you're not going to be able to do it yourself.
  12. Read the readme.txt in the module directory ;) You can do your defines and declarations in any file wherever it'll work. You can create main.h and include it if you want, just like before.
  13. Jah! Hehehe at the end of that trailer... something about in 20 years when hiphop is long gone... like yeh, it made it 30+ years, but another 20 is asking a bit much. lol yeh whatever... and rock long gone? oh please... Don't think i'll be watching that one!
  14. *phew* Thought I was gonna have to update the docs *again* :D Thanks for testing it illy!

  16. Exactly. Lief is an exception to the rule, we don't want this turning into "me too" land ...not just yet....wait for the bulk orders for that ;)
  17. Yeh! Seriously you should do that!
  18. I'm on a 22Mbps connection, my modem was fine, but...my eyes! heheheh
  19. Actually, it's not a user project until it's fully documented in the wiki User Projects section. For more info, see the sticky in the user projects subforum.
  20. Err, you mean the brown note? that's about 8hz...shit, if it was 33 i'd have a very messy studio!! The one that's nice for ladies is different tho... They are the resonant frequencies of the anus and uterus, and yes, they're real, but bordering impossible to generate at the required power levels. If the military decided that it was too expensive, then it's not within your reach ;) (Unless you come up with a newer, smaller and more robust and cheap method than they used last time, in which case you are about to become very rich)
  21. Ouch, bad luck bro. I hope you find it soon. (sorry had to joke about it...what else is there to do? :( hang in there buddy!)
  22. Well I was trying to keep it on the downlow, but I should add that lief is the person who had already volunteered to do layouts for this project for me, and has been working on it for a while now.... So he's not really joining us, we are joining him ;)
  23. Hmm that's weird... the 5.1.4 is just an installer which copies the files and then extracts them... Did you select the ‘Candidate’ package? If you use 'Release' then you'll get the version you got, but 'Candidate' should be using 3.81...
  24. Argh sorry!! Yeh that's the one! if you'd have dropped "diagram" from your search you would have found it.... Best not to use search terms which have too many similes (dagram, image, schematic, pdf, gif, jpg, drawing, sketch, etc etc etc....you could search forever if you tried all these terms...)
