  1. Could you paste logs of the messages? It'll help figure out what's wrong.
  2. No sweat foona, I always get a freindly vibe from you so I didn't really take offense :) (at least not in this case, not from you) LOL!!
  3. I dunno if it's the same elsewhere, but to roll your eyes at someone is generally a pretty offensive gesture... I get the feeling that in some countries, that's not the case... Sometimes I see it used on this forum and it just doesn't "fit"... Am I getting it twisted?
  4. Thanks dude!! I'll check it out. Damn I'm never gonna build this midibox doing all this wikiage :-\
  5. I'd love to, but I haven't built one :) Edit: So ::) yourself!
  6. They go both ways. Either way. Any way you like. (that's what she said)
  7. Just a plug for head-fi. If you thought reading all the midibox posts was tough.... whoa....
  8. Totally not answering it :) I guess I was responding to the question, by suggesting that he not ask it hahahha
  9. Hahahah :) Nah don't sweat, keep it fun bro... you'll remember it :)
  10. Oh, that's begging for a WIKIMARKER Can someone add it? Pleeeeease :)
  11. Errr.... how are they not broken? You can't use links or one of the most common forms of punctuation :( I've worked around it but it would be cool to fix it if anyone knows how they work?
  12. Heheheh...Did you find it? I'm 100%s ure Wilba's covered this off... Just too busy doing other things to search right now.
  13. Well in theory it should update the DOUT every 1ms so that would quantise your output to ms resolution, but in practice it's possible that they don't update for some other reason... Better to be safe :)
  14. The boxes are doing some weird **** inserting new lines. I'll let the demonstration do the work: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/wiki:playground#busted_boxes :'(
  15. If I do this, can someone upload it for me?
  16. TBH mate, I think that's a BAD idea.... It's hard enough to find a good encoder and a good switch, and if you limit your selection by a parameter such as height, you'll really limit your options. Better to choose a good switch and encoder, and build the CS PCB accordingly.
  17. That sounds like it would be a good mod, and I can't think of any reason why it shoudn't be possible... just find the code for that button press, and check if you are in the correct menu, and call the shift function?
  18. If the board was sitting there unused for a while, you might find that those keys just had some corrosion that rubbed off... I had that happen recently to a board of mine...
  19. Surprisingly the 7509/7506 are actually pretty good. I definitely wouldn't use them for monitoring cause they're a bit coloured though, and they're far from portable, both in size and impedance (you'd need a portable amp for those babies with most devices)
  20. OK I give up...where have I seen that little hockey-mask guy before?!
  21. And yet you didn't run a search ;) and uhm... you trying to boost your postcount or what? ;D DOUTs must be a wiring problem or dead SR's...
  22. 1) and 2) Yes but if your LEDs draw too much current it'll kill the SR. 3) I think this has been covered, did you search?
  23. I see some guys have sent PMs... Should I have gotten one yet? Big thanks for the awesome pricing and hard yakka, neb!
  24. Ahhh.... Don't use the DOUT pin, drive a spare pin on the PIC.... otherwise your timing is a representation of the DOUT chain speed too :) TK (and I) usually use the touchsensor pin for this.
