  1. Sounds cool... I reckon it'll sound really interesting through the scale engine . I'll certainly look into putting this in the vX if you don't mind? The great composers would surely be rolling in their graves, random sounds are passing as music a little too often for my tastes these days I must admit. Use it wisely - (random = noise) != abstract ;) But everything has it's place. Anyone heard 'Accidents don't happen'?
  2. For the non-hippy-scum amongst us, that's name of one of the Buddhas (The one people usually mean when they say "Buddha" as though it's a name of a person) Soon to come: MIIDBox Jehova and MIDIBox Allah. Actually they're the same box but don't tell anyone OK? ;) Well it's 4am and time for going back to work, like the Buddha said, "A day without work, is a day without food". Which all of us welfare taking musician types know all too well ;) Amitabha
  3. http://highlyliquid.com/kits/mpa/ Interesting digipot implementation for inspiration :) Anyone see what IC's those are?
  4. New Rome
  5. Compression can help a fair bit.
  6. Thanks Sasha! I never knew that existed :)
  7. Heh I saw that while working on the PS2 driver for MIOS few months back, cool toy huh!

    Freebay

I know how that can be mate. Grab em both and give em a good home :)
  9. We wish. A toy like this doesn't interest the masses who Korg would market to, who would rather use more familiar sounds. It's a shame that music lacks innovation and individuality these days :(
  10. Hi all, I want to apologize for the delays in completing the scale tables. I have been very overworked lately, and I tried to do it on an airliner this weekend (my only spare time in weeks) but had some dramas (why don't they have internet WLAN in airliners!?!). I promise that I am doing my best to complete this but of course paying the rent takes first priority ;) It shouldn't be much longer I hope! My apologies stryd
  11. I really like that you are whipping up these extras to help out. This is how MIOS Studio began one day when Wilba was feeling creative ;)
  12. Sure is, you just need to have some skills in C. Welcome aboard! This should probably go in the design concepts area of the forums though.... I have to test out my green stars now, thanks for the opportunity ;)
  13. mmmmm, stromberg. It's German for "you want me" ;)
  14. break o' dawn
  15. Sure can mate!
  16. You could easily code something like this with the C interface if you have some programming skills?
  17. Get an akai s2000. Stock it up with the 32MB max ram. Use Millennium to control it (NOT MESA!). Get the IB208P for extra outs. s3xxx series are pretty cheap these days too.
  18. Yeh clearly the cost is all in the development and not the hardware... But that's rediculous. Similarly to the neuron, the kawai k5000 was and still is a one-of-a-kind synth, but even that didn't cost half of this. Sh*t you could get a capybara for that price.
  19. Yeh I never could figure out how the right to a fair trial, and the right to pay for boatloads of hot lawyers and snow someone under in legal proceedings, could work.... Remember, the legal system, including the police, are NOT primarily there for your protection. They're there to give the impression of protection so that the masses don't riot out of fear.
  20. LOL that device looks awesome hey... I like when VJ's make kinda abstract graphics which are based on the music and move to it... Can't imagine how a few DVD's mixed together could be that cool, but then WTF do I know about VJ'ing ;) ... Does anyone know if there's like a VJ youtube or something where a musician can look for VJ's who make stuff they like? OT: kris I love the new sig :)
  21. Now you're officially a midibox developer ;D
  22. Envious, yet very thankful :) That'll do me nicely! Thanks!
  23. Welcome aboard mate. 1) Yep 2) How many fingers do you have? 3) Yep 4) If you want to All of these things can be configured, some are easier than others. It depends on your choice of hardware and programming skills in C or ASM :)
  24. Artesia speaks it fluently and often that's for sure! See how I went back on topic? Smooth. Bet you didn't even notice ;) Sorry for the hijack Artesia!
