  1. I was thinking the same.
  2. We say 'Alarm clock' :) Glad to hear you've found a good use for it :)
  3. Don't worry mate just give Mike some time to reply. You say you emailed "the company" but Mike is another midiboxer like you and I, not just a cool electronics company. Rest assured he'll be in touch real soon :)
  4. Certainly I think it's a great idea :) If someone writes a few MBSID patches to test the chips out I'm sure they can be made available for download somewhere handy :)
  5. Of course it's possible :) but someone has to write the application, and it's not a simple thing really...
  6. You sure it's not the controller sending a note off message too soon?
  7. The files are included in the default installation... Try C:\Program Files\SDCC\lib\src\pic16 or C:\SDCC\lib\src\pic16 (you get the idea) :)
  8. Seriously... You're gonna build the synth anyway I assume? Why wait to find confirmed working sids? Just build it, drop the chips in, and if they're no good, get new chips :)
  9. CR8000ServiceManual.pdf ;D
  10. I am so envious right now ;) heheheh
  11. (noisey post removed) Apologies if it is not an ad, but it sure looks like one and it's really annoying me! Edit: Danke dj3nk :)
  12. Very impressive man. It's a lot to learn huh! I look forward to seeing the final product :)
  13. Yeh stick em in an MBSID and see how you go ;)
  14. hmm strlen does not seem to be included in TK's SDCCLIB... It might be necessary to make it yourself. You'll need to get the source from SDCC (you've found that) and use fixasm.pl to make it work with MIOS and recompile. This matter has come up a few times lately, so if you have some luck and could document the procedure on the wiki that would be really helpful!
  15. Madman! Use the CNC! ;)
  16. To update your nightly, just delete the /share directory where your existing installation is, and unzip the new nightly over the top. :)
  17. Hmm...Why not put the flash reader in an external case and just hook that centronics up to it (like you would a normal hdd)? Otherwise you could strip an external bay for the centronics to 50-pin on there... unobtanium LOL
  18. Welcome aboard Tilted. it might be time to use the search engine now ;)
  19. LMFAO that is spooooooky.... Guess what I started doing last night..... Same thing! Fortunately for me I never finished it off or I'd have been kicking myself right now.... Don't suppose you feel in a sharing mood? ;) Right you are. I removed that functionality (the tracks in the seq take care of that) so I never noticed :)
  20. Yeh.... caps is rude, dude...
  21. Welcome back and congrats!! :D
  22. Welcome aboard! There are probably some kind of part number on the pots, otherwise you can measure the resistance with a multimeter. Hope that helps!
  23. Did it work? Seems OK here... I've been thinking about making a new sdcclib which uses the hardware mul' wherever possible, whatya think? Could save a lot of time and effort in optimising... I need some divide routines which return a remainder too.... That said, it's 1030am and I am still awake and cutting code, my head could be rolling down the street for all I know ;D
  24. I gotta say... It's even nicer in real life. Totally awesome.
  25. dj3nk what's up with the advertising in your sig? For BPM detection nothing beats the Red Sound V2 engine.... Simply detecting peaks won't work because beats and peaks don't always match. If you want to do beat detection consider 3+ frequency bands and a separate detection on each band and an engine to analyse the correspondence in peaks in the individual bands. Definitely too much for our humble PIC :(
