  9. Getting rid of those extra 10 is gonna be a real problem ;) Actually... Mine!
  10. Julien, I think you're misunderstanding sth. here. Noone is angry or mad by definition. It's just that you asked lots of questions where the answers could have been easily found by just doing a bit of reading. An even when people gave you an answer you ignored it cause it still involved a tiny bit of thinking... That's why people got angry with you - cause you're not doing your homework _before_ asking.
  11. So african bands, that can't afford real instruments and have to resort to using bongos only, have no rhythm? Poor africans ;) (yeh I had alter your quote a bit to make it fit) If it helps any: In german they are called "upper" and "lower" as well, sometimes (seeing how they represent a fraction) "numerator" and "denominator".
  12. lol
  13. While m00dawg is correct and fuses are a good thing - have you ever seen a fuse in a 9V powered device? ;) Just saying... You definitely want fuses when you're working with mains.
  14. Okay, then, while we're at it ;) Yes, it does.
  15. You'd wanna connect the USB power from the gm5 module to J2 not J1. This will work, but USB power has a tendency to be relatively noise so it's not gonna be too nice for audio - midi and digital stuff will work nicely. Just make sure to keep the current down. There's only so much a usb port can handle, bright blue LEDs and huge backlit LCDs might not be a smart choice ;)
  16. 1. Either will work. I personally am a big fan of 9V PSUs as they are incredibly easy to find. 2. Yes, to J1 only. And pretty please use a socket and switch ;) 3. Yes.
  17. Yeah. But also wrong ;-)
  18. While power supplies can put out a different and usually higher voltage w/o load a battery really doesn't do that, so I guess - get a new meter. They aren't really expensive at all. I paid 10EUR for mine a while back and it works like a charm.
  19. Um, no. The "Knobs" menu and assigments are for encoders.

  21. All the the row of black block definitely means is that your display hasn't been initialized. The most likely reasons for that would either be what philetaylor just said or the wiring from the core to the pic.
  22. And this rocks even more: http://www.ucapps.de/cmios_fun.html
  23. Smart move, way easier that way ;) [me=nILS]looks at TK and whistles[/me]
