    Midibox LC

Sobald du weißt, was Du _willst_ kannst Du Dich dran machen zu überlegen was Du hardwareseitig dafür brauchst ;)
  3. Click for full size view. Who wants kits? ;)

    SIDbox

Someone might have made a similar board recently, with a Core and stereo SID module on one PCB. déjà vu...
  5. cimo: Ooooh speaking of - is that thingie finished?
  6. Is there any specific reason for you to mirror the pics? Take all the ICs out. Don't even think about stuffing them again until you have the correct voltages everywhere. Disconnect the pcbs from each other (this is why you shouldn't solder cables directly to the headers). What voltage are you feeding the SID pcb atm? AC/DC? Voltage?
  7. Add pictures. Who'd buy it without seeing if it's actually built decently? ;)
  8. lol! Glad you guys got 'em and like 'em. I'll start sending out invoices for the spares next week.
  9. Willkommen an Bord!
  10. Awww come one, bosone. You expect someone to spend the time to place your order, sort through the parts, repack them, head to the post office and ship 'em to you just so you can save 5.60EUR!? Just pay the 5.60EUR already. Jeez ;)
  11. I am not in need of any parts at the moment, but I can jank out a reichelt order and proxy if you want to. PM me with details if you're interested ;) edit: spelling bad.
  12. Well the soldering isn't the prettiest I've seen, but from experience I do know that those boards tend to be a bit of a pain to solder. I'd say reheat the solder joints. Just making sure as this cannot be seen in the pics: the +-12V have the same ground as the +5V? The audio sockets are connected to ground as well?
  13. From my semi-destructive tests I can say that they seem to be able to handle quite a bit of heat :-) The thing is "magic" is not a good thing. You don't know what "solved" the problem so it is most likely still there in a way or two. This kinda sounds like a loose joint somewhere. Can you take some nice closeup photos of the the OPL3 board (both sides)?
  14. If the wiring to the OPL3 module is correct that basically leaves you with errors _on_ the OPL3 modules. Any bridges?
  15. Whee someone's building an mbFM :-)
  16. The point ;-) Removing the detents is not about increasing the resolution but removing the "steppy" feel of the encoders, which makes sweeps a lot easier for instance.
  17. [me=nILS Podewski]gets out the magic 8ball: Your answer is 42.[/me] We really can't help you at all unless you give us details. Did you do the MIDI Troubleshooting? Do you have any indicators that the core itself is working? What MIDI interface do you use? What _exactly_ is not working? What are the error messages that lead to it aborting? Are you using smart mode? ...
  18. Like the one you use an an avatar? ;)
  19. Glad you guys like them! This is what you do if you did not get your PCBs by the time you think "I should have gotten them by now": 1) Wait another week. 2) Then write a PM to me, nicely inquiring the whereabouts of your stuff.
  20. Since I decided I'd sleep in today with the gf the last pcbs will be shipped on Monday :-)
  21. Welcome aboard joflahe! ...and thanks for the input ;-) @WIKIMARKER
  22. Hahaha, when I wrote the script I used "gm5x5x5" backwards (kinda figures) and that actually got a lot of people confused. I think next time I'll use "!trams er'uoy" ;D
  23. Way cool! Definitely beats my rudimentary "mod matrix pong" ;-)
  24. Whee! :-)
