Hi. The pot is working as a voltage divider. Say, You have GND at left side of the pot and Vcc (+5VDC) on the right = the pot turned to left (end position), the left pin and the center pin = 0V, pot turned to right (end position), the left pin and the center pin = 5V.. should be around 2,5V at the middle of the turn. There are some differences, but it doesn't prevent using CEM3378 in similar multimode configuration as 3372.. all the gain cells have output taps. Keep ya hands off of SSM2044s.. I might need some for my Polysix.. :D Bye, Moebius

Hi. Switch it off from the "MIDI Config. submenu" (you do have a LCD connected?) or alternatively make your configuration with merger disabled with vmidibox64 (http://www.midibox.org/mios_tools/) and send it to your midibox. Bye, Moebius

Yes, the SID modules remain the same. (Well.. unused audio inputs are shown as grounded and the last SID module has a cap added between +5VDC and GND contacts) The schematic shows 9VAC from the C64 powersupply first rectified to DC (by B40C800), filtered by additional caps and that 7809 regulator has it's "common" pin connected to +5VDC so the output referenced to ground is 14VDC. Hi. Yes. First upload MIOS to your core and then modify change_id application to match your target ID (ie. to reflect the new core ID) and then compile, convert and upload it to the core. No problem! ;) There are newbies and there are newbies.. Your questions are simple and easily answered. (versus Too many, mixed up questions, not explaining the problem properly ect.) No - MIOS is the same. It's a sort of Operating System layer, that handles lowlevel I/O, midi ect. functions to the applications on top of it. Bye, Moebius
