thnx TK, ive got the right one.. 4 pin oscillator..

hmm, ive got a crystal that runs at 14.31818 but that only has 2 legs.. and on the other card ive got a 28.2240 oscillator with 4 legs.. can anyone give me a statement about this?

jah ik heb hier nog wel een paar :P ik heb zowel degene van voti.nl en die van smash.. die smash encoders wil ik best ruilen (zijn de minder lekker voelende) maar die van voti.nl tjah.. ik heb ze misschien nog nodig voor mijn midibox chaos.. als ie van de grond komt.. kijk als je me echt wat leuks kan bieden.. jah.. dan kan ik ut overwegen.. lol.. maar die smash encoders mag je best overnemen.. ik heb voor ongeveer 6 euro aan onderdelen nodig voor mijn OPL3 module.. dat kan dus via mouser of reichelt.. mijn mening is dat het via mouser voor mij het handigst gaat.. tenzij jij aan je 150 euro minimum komt.. dan hop ik daarop mee.. verzend kosten voor dit gedeelte mag echter niet boven de 6 euro uitkomen.. wat betreft de rest bij smash: 1 din, 1 dout, 1 core, 1 ain. en een zoot klein maar belangrijk grut waaronder female sil plugs. en dus nog wat andere stuff..

hey NLX, de encoders bij smash raad ik af.. ze voelen niet lekker aan.. vind ik.. die van voti.nl voelen zoveel beter!! waarom zonder componenten? ik had smash ook gevraagd om een non standard order.. omdat ik bezig ben met de MBFM en caps en resistors nodig heb.. hier zijn antwoord: is mouser niet nog goedkoper dan reichtelt? kweenie.. meh, wat een gedoe :P

right.. the 40x2 lcd is in.. the buttons on the tactiles will be in very shortly.. i also bought an oscillator.. which is 14.318180mhz is that the right one???? as it has an additional 0.00018 mhz or will it be allright?? its the only one i could find :-\

i would refute that engraving is better than silkscreen.. as engraving will still be the same color.. i would use steel or aluminium, not polycarbonate.. but anyway.. what kind of format do they need.. thank you for the offer of designing it for me.. but no thanks.. greetz,

here they are abundant.. but hey.. and for the record old english and dutch are 2 completely different things.. try diets.. or german.. thats more in the line of dutch..

well i guess it would be handy in some cases.. if you get used to it, it'll probably be stoer.. i'd like to see how it would function.. however with the price of voti.nl his 40x2 lighted leds.. im choosing that one over the more expensive 20x4

hey polyfusion, i expect there are a lot of people quite interested.. not me though.. the price is way to high.. i buy my chips for about 5 euros.. with the commodore 64 still attached (they are 8580's) but for some.. new unused chips would be their first choice..

dude.. thats so unfortunate!! i feel for you.. couldnt you sell the boards a bit cheaper instead of binning them?? so the 600+dollars would become more like a 100 dollar mistake.. still 100 bucks is a lot but atleast not as much as 600+ again my deepest sentiments.. you are providing a great thing for the community here..

i got them from rs-components.nl part number 467-6106 24 euro cents!! and they look great!

well.. this would be an update i guess.. ive bought an xy joystick to put in this thing! im a bit over my head in terms of programming i think.. but ill cross that bridge when i come to that..

well.. ive ordered and received some other parts for my MBfm PHOTOS!! the TL074 Chip.. and this time im using black knobs for the encoders.. these babies are cheap! and perfect! the tactile push button.. im not going for mec anymore.. too expensive.. also these are easier to find! allthough i had a mixup with the caps on top of these. and next tot the tactiles.. a better jack connector..hopefully this one doesnt disintegrate! love this switch.. looks awesome.. almost exactly the same switch as on my Motu 828MK2.. almost.. as the motu switch doesnt have 0 and 1 on it.. the 40x2 display has been ordered again together with some other stuff like rotary encoders from voti.nl.. but that has yet to arrive..
