    C64 Netzteil

  3. better first use the search function of the forum and then post ;) many questions have been asked more than one time. just search and see if your question has been answered already in a former thread :) But you're an the right track. have fun! matthias

    USB PIC Module

  10. updates and pics please ;D and some sound-samples would be great. It's really hard to imagine how polyrhythms sound.
  11. and if you're into polyrhythms and really weird complex things, then search "Vx" in the wiki. ;)
  12. that's what I had planned before I started worrying about latencies. I think I'll just buy a 20€ USB-PCI-card

  14. I think what Ilmenator wanted to say is: "Why do they have to play music that loud?" And that's exactly what I've been wondering about, too. If you go to a concert, it is nowadays some kind of "standard" that the volume is above the pain threshold. And it's getting louder every year. Formerly, when I went into a "club" (mostly www.lex-beilngries.de ) the people were laughing at me because I was wearing ear-protection most of the time. Now I've got longer hair that covers most of my ear, so the people usually don't see it. If it would be possible to talk (not to shout at the top of your voice into your friend's ear) in those clubs, I'm sure conversations would go like that: -"Oh, look at this mollycoddle*!! He is wearing earprotection!!" -"Better shut up and enjoy music now, 'cause in ten years you won't be hearing anything anymore" It's not about standing pain here. It's not like jumping naked into a half-frozen lake. It's about getting deaf. Once you've lost your sense of hearing, it's lost. For ever. I just don't understand people... ::) and @ cimo: I think that there is nothing like a "definition" of what is noise and what is music, or the fact of someone having a good "taste" in music. I think people are always developping. Music, of which I thought was just plain noise ten years ago, is now music i really liked to listen to. I've been listening to some alva noto music some days ago. and, well,... I wouldn't really call it "music". I'd rather call it audiovisual art, and it's not really my cup of tea. Perhaps it will be in ten years.. who knows? And, yeah... Alva Noto is performing "arts"... So he is an "artist"... and basically every musician is an artist. So I'm kinda locked in a loop. And that's exactly the point at which I have forgotten everything I actually wanted to say, because i have a big problem with not being able to structure my thoughts.. ::) good night, matthias *looked it up in a dictionary. I've got no idea whether it matches the German "Weichei". //edit: ...sorry for hijacking, btw. ;D
  15. yeh... I know... sometimes common online-banking sucks, and sometimes paypal sucks, and sometimes everything sucks ::) money should arrive on time
  16. hmm... my conscience tells me that it's legal to sell the single parts on eBay as one could also just buy them from smash. I'd like someone to confirm my thoughts before bidding, though. /edit: ...but I'm sure that "Bulk Orders" is definetifely not the right place
  17. http://ucapps.de/midibox_sid/mbsid_v2_communication.pdf do you have the Diode and the 1k Resistor like shown here? have you tried to exchange IC2 and IC3? perhaps one of them is damaged.
  18. how can you be that sure? ;D does the SID output any sound? / edit: how have you connected the Display? can you post a link to the schematic you used? /edit2: welcome aboard, btw ;D
  19. IC inserted the right way round? check the connection between the SID-Pcb and the CORE-Pcb.
  20. noja...
