  1. Crank up the Queen, ketamin and harder levels and you got yourself some Eurodance! I wonder if Wayne-G had one of these! LOL, have you seen the "Buy Now" link http://www.theinternetnowinhandybookform.com/schmapple/buynow.html
  2. http://www.theinternetnowinhandybookform.com/schmapple/dreamonpro.html This is the best page :D Can anybody remember the thread that had the linkl to a similar hard-ware based thingy.. I've searched but can't find it. **EDIT, Found it http://www.rane.com/pi14.html** G
  3. Hmnnn, gonna order myself one of the WS 931 - 50W Digital welding stations. Nice price... Only 2 left though. G
  4. Thought some people may find this interesting. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7458479.stm g
  5. I have now ;) I've updated my database. G
  6. A geiger counter is the kind thing i would own just so that I could say I had one... Must be hours of fun taking readings from Blackpool sea wall. For those that aren't in the UK Blackpool is a city in the Uk just down the coast from a nuclear power plant and nearby to where they make nuclear rods, the wall shows up such high levels of radiation that you shoudln't be allowed near it. We had a most radioactive sandcastle competition there once, (which I won, have a certificate and everything) at one of the DNSCON conferences held there. http://www.dnscon.org/dns6/ http://www.dnscon.org/dns8/index2.htm Hmnn, think I may have gone off on one slightly there, completely off topic too.. sorry. I want me a geiger counter though. G
  7. Take a deep breath and calm down. It's obviously a breech of copyright, it pisses everybody off but there's not much we can do about it. TK is the only person that can act on this. Having lengthy discussions about it on the forum is only going to bring everybody down. Heck, it may aven lead to some people having similar ideas about cashing in on midibox. There was a long thread about Midiboxes being sold on ebay a while back. It got a little heated and it didn't really sort the situation. i can't find it now, maybe it's being removed. Check ou this link to see what happened with another one http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,10111.0.html People were only having a bit of fun with the pigeon pictures, this forum is supposed to be fun, right? And you have to admit, those pink and green pigeons parrots do look funky. I don't know why you feel the need to get so angry, you're part of this community and I wouldn't expect you to explode like that. One problem online is that you can never completely read how someone is feeling or what tone their posts is in. I really hope you can take back the things you said and remain a valued contributer to this community. G
  8. If the solders not sticking to the copper then give it a clean! Copper oxidises very easily, i've even had some boards which have had a greasy film on them which has made soldering difficult. Give it a rub over with some wire wool and the tracks will become shiny again and soldering should be much easier. G
  9. I've just done the first trip down to the post office some of you will be getting a delivery soon. I't may take a little longer to get the rest out as I'm away at festivals for the next two weekends but I will try and get them sent in-between. Eddie
  10. Nah, they're parrots. Stryd_one is having us on, pigeons aren't pink and green ;D
  11. Rats with wings! We have some exotic wood pigeons too The ones that you posted earlier are called Parrots in the UK ;D
  12. The Aussie ones look better than the UK ones.
  13. Let me see what I have at home when I get these posted out. I thought I'd got everybody with this last order but ti seems not, so I will be running another one, depending on interest. G
  14. LOL, twas useful, gave me something to do for 10 minutes whist taking a break from databases!
  15. THE KNOBS HAVE GONE!
  16. LOL. I had no idea people were still wanting knobs. I've already sorted this with johnny as he was first to show interest. Looks like there may be call for another order in the future, we'll see how it goes. G
  17. PM read! I'll send an invoice out soon. Thanks, G
  18. OK then... this has been driving me mad, what is he saying? I've tried finding the characters in webdings and all 3 wingdings fonts, but can't find the start of David so is a no starter, any chance of a clue?
  19. I'm still knob counting due spending a weekend digging holes and doing organising for a free party. They are all bagged up and ready to go so I will start posting them off tomorrow. I've been let down at the last minute with payment on some knobs which I agreed to front the money for a couple of weeks but payment has not come through and the person no longer wants the them so it would seem it's my responsibility to sell them on. Same price and postage as before, Please see the Fleamarket thread below for details. http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,11600.0.html
  20. I've been let down with a payment for some ALBS knobs and have been left with the responsibility of selling them on (in awkward quantities). I could do with a quick sale on these as I need the money for my holidays! I will take this thread down if the person who requested the knobs manages to sort something out. The MB-6582 requires 15 of these knobs (Well, any knobs would do but these look good and are what you will have seen on Wilba's setup). These knobs would also look good on any project though. I'd rather sell them all together, but can split the colours if need be. I will also split the red ones into two sets of 15. 30 Red "Waldorf" knobs 10 White "Waldorf" knobs 10 Grey "Waldorf knobs Cost will be £0.75 each, with £2 postage/packing to the UK, £2.50 to Europe and £3.50 to the rest of the world. Payment needs to be through paypal. G
  21. The knobs have arrived. For those of you who didn't know, I have taken delivery of the package to save the horrendous postage cost to Isreal). I'm picking up envelopes this week and will start the job of counting them out and packaging them next week. Please be patient with this as there are a lotof knobs to distribute and I am currently sorting out he ALBS knobs. I will post the Sifam knobs together with the ALBS knobs where applicable to save postage. Eddie
  22. by sharpening some sticks? ;D
