Wow, that picture is amazing. Seriously think I may have to pop down to Australia for a few weeks at some point (I know a very nice in Queensland who will let me stay there for a while). There looks like so much to see, just got to get the big China 2009 trip out of the way first! G -
BULKORDER 4x40 LCDs/10.- Euro/Piece & another 2x16 -CANCELLED-
Goblinz replied to MTE's topic in Bulk Orders
I'll be in for a couple of these... Got some of the 2X40 ones before, but haven't found a suitable inverter circuit for the EL backwire yet. Getting quite a collection of displays together now. G -
Gutted! That's such an amazing looking synth. Hope it all works out OK. In what way is it wrecked?

How many forum members does it takes to change a light bulb?

True anarchist, through and through ;D -
Hmnnnn,, think I've found the panel for my second x0x... I'm building two; one with the rotated buttons and mods, using Sashas boards and a stock one using a board from ladyada... Somebodies designed some WASP type panels and there's an order going on at the moment.. Order is here http://forums.ladyada.net/viewtopic.php?t=5544 Obviously these wouldn't go with Sasha's modified PCB's though I've wanted a Wasp for a while... Simply because it looks cool, at $50 a panel it's a bit pricey tho. Does anyone know if it's possible to get the button caps in yellow? G

Does that mean I can post what I want and it won't get moderated :P

There's always the option of using the same place as Altitude did for the MB panels. I know the screwed up with the silk screening, but we could get that done elsewere and the panels were reasonable, except for the odd burr.... maybe we could sort something out with DaveBanner??/ G

Doesn't sound like you're having such a good time with this. If there's any way in which we can help then let us know. G

<OT> If anybody is wanting any of the ALBS knobs, as used on Wilba's MB-6582 then the deadline for getting in on the order is the 16th of April. These knobs compliment the Pactec-PT10 case and the front panals very nicely. I'm may not be sorting out another order for a while (and ALBS don't like dealing with small orders), so get your name put down if you want them. http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/albs_waldorf_knob_-_order_no._3 </OT> G

Everybody got their name on the list? The deadline is fast approaching. G

There must be quite a few people who have the parts kits now... How's the building coming along?

Depends... How many Celine Dion albums do you own? ;D -
It's a nice place to live, but it's my Dads farm and he'd a bit uptight... Not even allowed a couple of friends round camping... really annoys me. I have several friends with rigs, know loads of DJ's all we need is the land to have a party... Grrrrr! Tis good being able to have my music on as loud as I want when no-one else is in though :D G

I have a good one too... http://www.multimap.com/maps/?hloc=DE|alt%20daber#t=l&map=53.20374,12.51848|17|32&loc=DE:53.2043:12.50136:14|alt%20daber|Alt%20Daber,%20Wittstock/Dosse I go to Fullmoon festival (www.fullmoon-festival.com) which is set in an ex military airbase just outside of Berlin. Everything is deserted, if you walk in the woods you see the odd fire hydrant and statue, then suddenly you find yourself walking along a street. There's lots of good exploring to be done! Nest to the run way there's a path in almost a D shape. The green bumps in there are huge aircraft hangers... one housed the chill-out stage last year I have a lot more exploring to do this year.... There's a whole new block of hangers that I didn't know about and a few more bits and pieces in the woods too. G

is it just me, or is the FORUM going OFFLINE alot ?

Yes, I'm sure we could all chip in for the cost of an upgrade. Incidently, I had the idea a while back of some fund raising Ideas...namely a MIDI-box CD consisting of members tracks all made on MIDI-box hardware. I don't have any tracks myself, but am willing to burn CD's post them out--- Any thoughts on this??? Also,, howabout MIDI-box T-shirts? I may be way off the mark with this and will have to discuss things with TK, but it'd be a good way of generating funds to keep things running smoothly. G -
Umnnn... that's shocking. i thought the odd funny line-drawn cartoon or something.. Not full on porn! Maybe an idea to mark it as not safe for work. The Image has obviously been added by the uploader though, no way that the manuafacturer could get away with that. G

Me too, like are we talking full on x-rated watermark images here :o :o or just line-drawings ?
