  1. My front panel came from julianf in the UK. Mine fits like a glove. Top notch craftsmanship and cheaper that Scheffer or FPEx. And julianf is a swell guy to boot. See his site at: www.thebeast.co.uk I did use the back panel .fpd that TK provided and it worked great.
  2. I have been reading Wilba's mb-6582 construction guide this afternoon. there are several embedded links in the text that refer to specific threads in the forum. The URL's in these links look like this: http://midibox.org/forums/forum/index.php/topic,9623.msg70697.html#msg70697 i am assuming that they used to work? I have tried three different browsers, all with the same result: I just land on the front page of the forum section when i click on one of these links. Does anyone have a tip on how to make these work? Am i just being a dim-wit and missing something simple? Thanks for your help.
  3. The two PCBs to the left of the CPU were acquired through a group buy run by seppoman about a year and a half ago. They are the MBHP_ETH PCB and the MBHP_SDCARD PCB. You might try pinging seppoman with a PM and ask if they are still available. That was the only time that I have seen those PCBs for sale on the forum. They were sold as blank PCBs, you had to source your own parts. If you do find a source for these let me know. I need another set of them for another project I'm working on right now. The middle PCB is the SD memory card receiver. Note that the eithernet card and the SD card connect to the CPU on a common cable. Good luck with your project!

  5. same here. enjoyed your survey!
  6. Is that 90 degrees clock-wise or counter-clockwise?
  7. WOW! Most impressive. You are no longer a padawan, but a full fledged Jedi.Congrats on a beautiful job!
  8. Your symbol is a xeon flash blub, like what is used in a camera.
  9. Most impressive. I really enjoyed the track! The elephant looked very purple on my monitor, but I'm sure that he approved just the same... Well done Hawkeye, keep up the good work!
  10. The timing is great on this Altitude. I have a mixer that I would like to re-knob. It's an old berhringer mx9000. About 405 knobs. The problem is that this mixer uses knobs with a goofy orientation. If the knob pointer is at mid-point in rotation (12 o'clock), the flat of the pot is at 3 o'clock. I think this is known as a "west" orientation. I looked hi and low about 6 months ago and never found a suitable replacement and gave up. I like the black knob with the color insert-able pointer shown above. I need a push on 6mm shaft, 11 to 13 mm base diameter (prefer 11 mm), 5 or 6 colors and the WEST orientation mentioned above. If you can make this work in your order and the price is right, you can put me down for 405 of them. Thank a bunch, gtxdude

Just finished the electronic assembly of my GM5x5x5 card. My first SMD project. It took a little practice, but I finally got the hang of drag soldering. It's not so bad...

    SEQ v3

When I started my SEQ project I scored an UltraCore for my CPU and then the 32 bit platform came out. Rather that waste the UltraCore, I decided to use it in this project.
