Posted February 29, 2004 Author Report Share Posted February 29, 2004 Thanks guys! :)Oh man, this thing keeps me so busy - once you are starting with a sequence, you will never find an end!I've started with a tutorial sequence which should demonstrate how to convert this simple arpeggio:http://www.midibox.org/midibox_seq/mbseq_tutorial1_1.mp3to a much more complex texture by using the capabilities of the save/copy/shift function:http://www.midibox.org/midibox_seq/mbseq_tutorial1_11.mp3(4 patterns are played at the same time: 2 patterns for 3 SIDs, 1 Drum pattern, 1 Bass pattern)Of course, such a sequence could also be realized with a common sequencer, but are you also able to play the same texture with some differents chords like demonstrated here?http://www.midibox.org/midibox_seq/mbseq_tutorial1_12.mp3It really keeps me busy... ;-)Best Regards, Thorsten. I had a long telephone call (about an hour) with the manager. He's a really nice one. He knows exactly for what I was ordering the faders ...It would be possible to get better prices for faders and knobs, if we make complete orders within our community. Because of the quantity we'll get then better prices. But someone must manage this "shop".So my idea is, just to ask the community if they are interested. We could make collection orders and then get better prices. Albs is working on a web shop but they are not really interested in people ordering two knobs. It would be nice to gather a mailing list or even a forum so we could arrange bulk orders together. While I can easily obtain the common stuff quite cheap locally (eg. 100 resistors for $1.70 from Rockby) and order in PICs and other chips from Futurlec, it's a real pain trying to source things like rotary encoders and long shaft ALPS tactile switches. I still cannot find LARGE vectorboard/veroboard like what DriftZ and TK use :'( BTW: TK it looks awesome... yet another toy I need to make *sigh* ;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
