    2x MB's 1x LCD?

Hey thanks for the reply I'll try and hold out...... at the moment im opening the case up and unpluging/pluging the LCD every time I wish to switch! As far as the MB_link goes Im having some trouble with random data showing up in midi ox i.e when the boxes are connected seperately they are working well but when I connect via MB_link and turn a knob the data looks pretty good in midi-ox except for a random note or two showing up. ill try and do some screen dumps later Also TK did you ever have any luck getting V-midi-box to work with MB_link? TIA LO
  5. 'ello Any info on how I might do the following would be appreciated. In one box I have a MB64 & also a MB_SID but only room for one LCD, I would like to be able to switch between the modules (would be nice but does not need to be a "hot" swap) The MB64 is connected to the LCD and the "data" lines from the SID could be connected to the lcd but diconnected by a switch? Which wires going to the LCD from the modules do I need to have it switchable? Does this make sence? ??? LO

  8. isnt an "AT" Power Supply a switching p/s?
  9. you dont have to use encoders as traktor supports soft take over (as does MB64) LO
  10. you will be wanting velocity sensitive pads? not so easy i think LO
  11. Cubase SX is a completely new prog unlike any previous ver of cubase dont compare it till you have tried it :D
  12. Rather than using low power LEDs I think you can just use a larger value (or extra)Resistor?

    Hip-Hop

I like your stuff...... very "live" sounding! good to see some fellow hiphop fans in 'ere I wish I could understand your language :-X
  18. Yeah I have an old(ish) terratec EWS64 and a SB Audigy the terratec has good quality sound and plenty of features + ASIO2 drivers t work nicely with all software although this may have been fixed with their newer cards. Many people complain about the audigy but I find it an excellent all round card it has ASIO drivers with reasonable performance and very compatible!

    Part confusion.

Good luck... tho i doubt the pots out of an amp will be of a useful ohms range?!
  20. hmmm must be an 18F thang?? my panasonics are sweet (no buzzing) on the 16F Im still too scared to try the 18F again
  21. that all depends on how many parameters you wish to control at once I would recomend a min of 8 channels (faders) with min of 1 pot & 2 buttons per channel You will always want more than you have so.... get as many as you can afford!
  22. mmmmmmmmmmm.........mmm.... oh sorry I think i just ..... :o
  23. Oh yes im very wise when it comes to electronics: :-/ where there is a #1 I colour in red #2 I colour blue I think they call it "paint by colour"
  24. hi You dont need the 16E version for traktor standard pots work just fine as it has a soft takeover function and you dont normally need more than 1 bank. Almost all functions in Traktor are learnable (just check the control menu for details on what can be controlled) be sure to include plenty of push buttons start/stop etc etc might be best to go for a cut down version of MB_64 I use this and it works well. LO
  25. Hi Resistors: probably not worth it as they are very cheap! Caps: your better off with new ones as they can be difficult to test Pots: yeah 2nd hand is good Switches: yip good Leds: no problem there either Sorry I dont have a resistor value chart handy but they should be easy to find? LO
