300 ??!!?? *giggling mode on* yeahyeahyeah !!! coooool Having displayed the 64 pots on one row! *giggling mode off* coooool... its getting better and better (and more bad for my purse) ;D

Nope, not one. But doesnt matter, I´ll get them now anyway. :D :D

Tried it out! Cooooooooooooool!!! ;D But to things (just questions): I read a little about this 2TV PIC on Rickards site and two things came to my mind: First: Hey there is a gray scale, too! (just white, grey and black, but whatever) Can that be implemented into MIOS? Its just sending the signal to Port D1 and let D0 on mass. Possibility? But on the other hand: Usefull for MIOS? Perhaps... Second: Rickard used a slow and little PIC16C84 with a 12 Mhz Oscilator. With a PIC18F (with lets say a 24 Mhz oscillator quadrupled to 48 Mhz) the signal would be sent four times as fast and so double the vertical and horizontal resolution (256x128!!!!! *freaking out again*), or not? Possible? To much work? These are just some thoughts, but I`m just to hot about that TV thing!! So dammit cool!!! :D Wont sleep to much tonight!

Also bei fertigen PCBs kommt es sehr selten vor, das Fehler (Hardware maesig) auftreten. Solange du sauber gearbeitet hast, muesste alles absolut oki sein! Falls was nicht funzt, einfach hier rein schreiben.

;D ;D ;D *happy pay.c in front of you* I`ll get to my bank as soon as possible and send your money! Many THNX to Northern Light and you Nat!!

The reason why I`m not quite sooo patient is that in the moment I have holidays ( the whole September! cool) and after that I`m on studying again (away from all that MB stuff). I`ve already soldered everything and I` just waiting for the encoders right now... The point is, in the moment I would have so much time to finish this and in three weeks (I`ll have to move again) I wont have. This is the reason, I hope you understand why I`m so hot about these babies. But anyway: THNX to Nat for this. If we all wait, I can wait, too.

Hya again! Question> Where has the Standard Midi Mapping gone in Reason 2.5? I know that in Reason 1.0 and 2.0 there is a Standard Map (its used in Amandos Sysex), but I cant find anything in Reason 2.5... my fault or their fault? Would be shitty... btw @Serge: Rebirth Sysex (2 files) in work and nearly done!

I DONT BELIEVE IT! You dammit Crackhead TK!!! :D WOW! Thats absolutely amazing! IN 10 YEARS WE WILL RULE THE WOOOOOOORLD!!! ;D

Something new Nat?

Ahh, the INI-File! Dammit, I didnt think of that! Yeah, I'll try that out and let you know if it works as soon as possible. Greets

I really DO KNOW that this is a stupid question, as I am not a programmer at all...but its just some idea: Would it make sense to make a Excel2syx converter? What I mean by that is: Instead of typing the values for every single pot (and button) and switch to the next, why not make some kinda table -or what you call that- where you can write in all that stuff directly? Advantage: You can use all that features of Excel: Copy&Paste, automatic up&down counting, even formulas... The only thing you would need is a ready table where you can write your stuff in and which is then converted to a .syx file. As far as I know the Excel format is quite simple, so what do you say? Btw: Are there more presets available somewhere? If hont, I'll make some the next months (REBIRTH!!! veeeery important... ) Greets :)

What is that protest about? I looked at your page, but somehow I cant figure it out... Just interested...

Yes that random stuff is a cool testing routine... ;D Its because your body is an antenna and getting all that 50Hz (in USA 60Hz) stuff from all that power plugs around you. 12 V is a bit high... try the following if its much to hot: Just put a 7809 in front of the power supply (nearly the same circuit as the one on the core - you just dont need all that caps and stuff - only the 7809 is enough) so you power the 7805 with 9V. To go sure, just measure out, what current the core is draining.
-
Tip: Verkauf sie auf Ebay. Da wissen die Leute des nich... ;) ... aber psssssst .... ;D
-
For that random stuff: You have to pull ALL unused AINs to ground. With the jumper on the core its pretty easy to do that. How high is your supply voltage? You should not use a supply higher than 9V for the 7805. btw: Here is how to figure out how hot the 78.. will get: (supply voltage - 78.. voltage) * drained current = watts which go into warmth A normal 7805 without heatsink can dissipiate about 2 Watts, above that a heatsink is a must-have. Hope that was helping.

??? Forget it... just a small down or so ... working again. :)

Is it me, or is Mike`s Site down? Just wanted to order some PCBs for my SID...
-
Thnx @ all! Steven: I think both... first as a Midibox and perhaps I'll try the Sequencer out some time (just changing the PIC), which is pretty easy: on the second pic you can see, that the case isnt screwed at the back, I can easily open it up. @pilo: The frontpanel is made of plastic (3mm) and so I just sawed it out... ;D btw: some Rack- and Desk-compatible design... ;D

No, they dont. :) Theyre multiplexed. That means that theyre switched through all the time so fast that the eye thinks, all LEDs are lit. On the other hand that means, that only one LED at a time is under power. Unfortunately some (not so good) LEDs are a little darker due to the fast switching, but if that happens you can just lower the resistance and all is fine again. Greets

OMG!! This gotta be Terrabytes of old sites! phew... Interesting layout that time, TK... ;) ;D

Very interesting links indeed! Thnx Steven! Gotta surf there some longer time... no time for even more DIYs! ;)
