Sorry to hear that, but it happens here all the time, no matter is is metal worker, carpenter or whatever, and I wonder same thing as yourself again and again. I use to say... if you want to do it properly do it yourself. Unfortunately you cannot do all by yourself. Sometimes pays off to invest in some tools and sacrifice a lot of time to get good result.

Thanks madox. Lack of time isn`t reason for sale... what I wanted to say is that, even I made it some time ago, it is new as I barely used it. When I started x0xb0x batch I planed to build and sell 2 machines. I need money right now and I still have some more parts to build myself new x0xb0x. The reverb is from Ableton Live.

I`m selling my self sourced/build x0xb0x with custom PCPs that differs a little bit from from ladyada`s - all buttons are in line and Rest, Accent and Slide buttons has horizontal orientation. I used 3mm red LEDs as I find it more elegant than those 5mm used on ladyada`s box. The x0xb0x is new, I haven`t got time to use it. I supply 220V transformer with it. I`m asking 650 EUR 500 EUR for it + shipping. For more details and questions feel free to send me a PM.

I`m sorry to intrude here with English, but I feel I have to react. First... welcome to the forum psyreactor. Listen, I`m glad you like my design and I don`t mind if people use my work as inspiration... it just confirms it`s quality. But taking somebody's image without asking, and chopping it up in Photoshop and pasting your design around it and naming as yours is very uncool. I`m really not happy about it. If you ask for it I would probably give you the permission. ???

After 3 layers of acrylic primer, casing is ready for the final painting - mat black.

Thank you circular saw did it Laser cutter cuts woods just fine but it depends of laser power. The one I`m often using for my projects cuts woods 6-8mm thick very nice. The material I used for this project is MDF. And as MDF contains a lot of glue in it, it is not suitable to be cut using lasers of any kind. It should be solid wood. No, I didn`t... yet. It needs more sanding on a daylight (during the weekend), maybe some body filling, primer painting, more fine sanding, another primer painting, more fine sanding, and 2 coats of final paint. So, a lot of work still to be done, but I`m close. ;)

I`m interested in 2 of these VFDs.

OK. I`m fine what ever you decide. You can design PCB to have both, so one can decide which to use. I design the main board of standalone mb808 for PCB mount sockets, but after talk to Mike I`m not so sure too. He said it happens often PCB sockets, and even PCB itself brake if somebody trips over the cable. So I`m thinking about having both variants, as it is on ultracore.

Is there some universal code for color of that orange filter? I see they can be get from ebay for cheap.

As I get it, it is just a case would people get annoyed at Doug or you? Don`t get me wrong, I`m really not annoyed at any of you nor I`m burning of desire to get the PCB, but my opinion is that it is better to start building the project so it can be housed when the case is ready than just wait endlessly. I have a bunch of projects without a case (2xMB6582, MB808, 9090...) and it takes maybe half an hour to put it all in their cases. It will happen one day, but at least I finished main and most time consuming part of building it - electronics and wiring. As I said, I`m not so desperate to get myself the PCB but I see not much point in waiting. I heard the Doug has some medical problems and I`m truly sorry for him, but we can hardly help him with delaying the bulk, and he probably have more important thing on his mind right now than making the panels. I wish him soon and full recovery.

This right one looks very nice. Contrast is great. I would decrease it bit more on the LCD so those squares wan`t be visible that much. Is that filter comes as a foil roll or what?

Not sure if I get you right, but shuffle is same as swing and mb808 has potentiometer for it. Flam is there too. Accent track is 16th track by default.
