  1. That' only 8 in binary though! ;D
  2. Just transferred the paypal funds across. Am ordering some knobs from ALBS next week so I'll get a few one off's of ones that look suitable. Unfortunately they don't have images of all their products on the site so I'm taking a look at the data sheets to find something that looks good. Eddie
  3. I didn't get one too, I don't think theprof did either. Sorry if you've already read my last message. G
  4. I've sent out paypal invoices for the orders recieved so far. I'm not expecting for them to be paid right away, but I thought if I sent them now then it would save chasing people up later on so that we can get a faster turnaround. G
  5. Your presence isn't unwanted. All the information you need is on uCApps.de. Forum members get irate at people questions asking about things which are already covered in the documentation because it shows that they haven't actually read what's there available to them. In reply to your original question somebody could have gone through the online manual and picked through it before giving you an in - depth answer on where to start and how to build a midi-box.... or you could go and have a look at it for yourself. Go to http://ucapps.de/midibox_sid_manual.html Near the bottom of the page is a table entitled "Minimal requirements", under there it explains what modules you need. Order them from SmashTv and your ready to build. Go back to uCApps.de and on the horizontal menu on the left hanside of the page, up near the top is a section entitled MB Hardware Platform. Look up each module in turn and build it up by following the instrucions. The box that you want to build is a full-control surface one so pick out the bits you need from there. G I would strongly urge you to read all the relevent bits on uCApps.de before buying anything though, It would be a pain to find out that you are short of some kits or that you haven't thought some things through and want to build it in a different way.
  6. Brother303, twin-x. I posted the packages to you last Saturday along with the rest of the orders. I'm sure they will get to you soon. Try to be patient, they are on the way. G
  7. Here's a picture of the white ones. http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=9975.0;attach=1732;image. In my opinion the grey ones go really well. They give a bit of a contrast between the black/white panal. Red's a good choice if your planning a red colour scheme. G
  8. If you ask specific questions about a specific thing, your more likely to get helpful answers. All the information is set out on a plate for you to digest in the form of the dokuwiki and ucapps. It's a bit much to ask for it to be spoon-fed to you ;D I'm not sure how anybody could answer your question in any other way then telling you to do some reading. The easiest way to get started is already documented in the two documents mentioned. G
  9. No, as mentioned in the first post only the opague knobs are available. G

  11. I've had a few PM's from people asking about another order of knobs from ALBS as used in Wilba's MB-6582. Therefore I am organising another order of these knobs. 3 colours (opague red/white/grey) are available. There are no translucent knobs available. The cost of the knobs is £0.75 each. Postage/packing will be £3.00 Europe or £2.00 to the UK and this includes automatic compensation cover up to £34. Payment will have to be made through paypal through an existing balance or through a debit/creadit card as bank transfers take a while to clear. Please do not add "me too" to this list, just copy and paste the form below and PM it to me, I will keep updating this thread with numbers. When you fill your adress in please can you make sure that you format as you want it to be written on the package and include the country whuch you want it sent to. Nick: No white knobs: No grey knobs: No red knobs: Name: Address: Paypal email: I will be closing this order off on 22nd November so please get your requests/details to me as soon as possible. There shouldn't be a problem with posting these to outside of Europe either if there isn't an alternative. G
  12. Wow... I thought it would take longer than 5 days for them to get to Isreal... I'm actually impressed with royal mail for once. G
  13. Jaicen, I haven't recieved an invoice, my paypal is edliddle at hotmail dot com. Please could you resend the invoice. G
  14. Oh hail Chief Sasha! ;D
  15. Yes, good luck in sorting this out. I think it's a bit pointless more people posting about the same problems with the silk-screen untill we get a reply back from fab. We'll just have to wait and see Nothing much we can do till we get a response. G
  16. 25% is a bit of a joke really. I think we should be pressing for a full refund or a reprint. It may be worth while mentioning how much business they will be missing out on if they don't get it right this time. G
  17. Post edited. Just to re-itterate, The above bpicture is Narwhal's sid. I just copied the image from one of his posts so people can get an idea of the positioning errors on the panal. G
  18. Woot Woot! ;D
  19. Just though this may help to outline the positioning problems once the knobs are attached. This is Narwhal's box (picture linked from one of his posts). If you scroll to the right and take a look at the envelope section and take a look at the labels. The Release/Cuve one is the only correctly alligned one in that section. Although not obscured by the knob, it may make reading it hard if working from above the box and just doesn't look right! G
  20. I think we need to wait for Altitude to get feedback from the panal guys. They have done a bad job so should offer a refund or a reprint. It would be good though if we could arrange for us to individually send them back rather than posting them all to the same person for return. Maybe we should send them some instructions on how to operate their screen-printer too ::) G
  21. Yes, I saw Ocelot last year at Fullmoon Festival, Berlin; And yes, definitely really twisted. I've found some great new artists from this thread. I found that after a while (6 years) of listening to psy, even though I love the music that I got to a point where me and my mates all had the same CD's and weren't really hearing any new sounds, this thread has corrected that! G
  22. Sorry Altitude, I forgot to thankyou for your hard work and effort in organising and sending these panals out. It's a real shame that they aren't up to scratch but this is no reflection on you, you've done a great job at sorting this. G
  23. Ok, I wasn't sure what the situation was exactly. I don't see any point in waiting for more either, just waiting for the go-ahead from Jaicen to send him the payment as soon as I get this then I can pay immediately. Sasha, please try not to get too stressed, I understand that a few people aren't making this easy for you even after you putting so much effort in to get these boards to us. It doesn't matter if there's only a few of us on here wanting them because we're going to end up with some smart-looking boxes at the end of it. We definitely have a lot beeter community going on than on the official x0xb0x site and if all the people that are dedicated help each other out then things should go smoothly. Just don't let time-wasters get to you or you'll have a heart-attack! THis is a hobby so should be fun, not a chore. G
  24. Jaicen/Sasha, Any chance we could sort out payment for this sometime soon? The threads being going for a while with no new interest so it would be good if we could get everything sorted.... We have got to critical mass for the PCB order, haven't we? G
