  1. It just so happens that i have a speak and spell sat on the desk waiting to be violated... I also need a Ghostbusters pack for fancy dress at some festivals this year. G
  2. I think it's where Topic highjack posts have been moved to. Tia all a little confusing though!
  3. Is it beyond the point of somebody emailing him and explaining the problems and how he could help us overcome the issues with BL? G
  4. If you look at the walkthrough there are some other versions with higher baud rates.... 4800, 200,000, and 40,000. Unfortunately the only other one available through sparkfun is the 4800 model, but part numbers are given for the others so it shouldn't be too hard to source them. G
  5. Nice one, thanks Wilba!

Hey, I ordered a few spare of each colour when I did the last order, just incase somebody ended up short for whatever. I probably have a job for the spare red ones, but won't know this for a dew weeks yet. I can send you grey or white straight away or possibly a red one in a few weeks... Let me know. G
  7. I would like a set if there any spare at the end of this order. Thanks, G
  8. I can see where Kartoshka's coming from... He needed to know if he could do this project or not. The reference material he was planning on writing up would have been very useful for the community too. Maybe it would have been more appropriate to have asked Smash about it in chat as I completely sympathise with Smash's views also. G
  9. Hmnnn.... That's just cheeky. I'm not going to buy one as I'm stocked up from the LCD order that Kartoshka so kindly organised. I may email them and ask for details just out of curiosity though. G
  10. I think I'll be building one of these too.. Gonna need something to put my MB-6582 through. G
  11. Strange... unless it's an incorrect photo. I would have thought Poly_LED, Polymer-LED and PLED would be the same.
  12. Are Poly-LEDs the same as PLEDS? IF they are then i think I've found a source for £25 each, although they are limited to one colour. http://www.elektor.com/products/kits-modules/modules/poly-led-display-(030451-73).91433.lynkx Can somebody please check the link out and let me know if these are the now hard to find PLEDS. G
  13. Umnn... is this the right topic? If you're using the mac then go for logic audio (no new versions are being released for the PC!). My DJ mates swear by it and often knock fruity loops as being something for amateurs. It's a bit more complicated but apparently more powerful.. G
  14. They're here... well, at the post office sorting office. I found a calling card when I arrived home today and will pop down in the next couple of days to pick them up. G
  15. Still wainting for them. I sent Albs an email on Friday to make sure they'd actually acknowledged the payment going in to their account. I have arelay receipt but just wanted to make sure they were processing the order. I haen't recieved a response yet but it can take them a couple of days to respond to emails. G
  16. I'd be willing to post things out from the UK if this helps. Rapid online are a good supplier in the UK I'm not sure if they do the resonators but I'll check on the parts list at some point. I also have a friend who has an account with RS so may be able to persuade him to do some ordering. G
  17. The red ones do look funky.... Just a damn shame that pac-tec don't do clear PT-10 cases!.... Would have to find a way of making the LEDS look right though LEDS . G
  18. Most forums's I post on only allow Mods to change people's nicks. It would make sense to have some sort of easily viewable history list. G
  19. All fixed! :D
  20. Thanks for the info but I can't ring the sys-admin. I work in a big corporation and am only allowed "incidental" use of the internet, so i'm prolly pushing it with visiting the forum. All changes to the system have to be put to management in the states and then there's a series of meetings to discuss it as well as testing.... you get the idea? I've pretty much resigned to the fact that I can no longer look at the forum from work so if it comes back in a week or so when the DNS refreshes then that's a big bonus. Thanks for all your hardwk with the server/forum/chat, etc. G
  21. Only problem I'm having is that my work proxy doesn't like the new forum... Keeps putting up some kind of 404 message rather than a "this page is blocked because" message... very strange. I can't relay the exact mesaage till I'm at work tomorrow, although i suspect it's just the filter work use and nothing can be done. :'( G
  22. Oooooh... shouldn't have posted that.... Gonna get a few midiboxers excited. You seem to have have missed my name off the box though ;D ;);D
  23. I'd like to echo the above sentiments but also point out that the chances are that SmashTV (and TK) probably also have full time jobs, a social life and a family life to dedicate time to aswell as needing time to actuallu use and enjoy their own midiboxes. Be patient guys it will take as long as it takes, nattering isn't going to speed things up and just remember that Smash isn't obliged to put these kits together for any of us. Personally I am using my free time to re-read the website/wiki. When I've had enough of that I will be looking at learning C and then looking through the source code as well as looking as starting to plan my own MBHP based project... There's plenty of stuff to keep you occupied which will ultimately benifit your Midibox project and maybe even the community as here as a whole. G

    *whack*

Ah, my mistake...*re-whack* I thought they'd completely done away with it as I didn't see it once when I was over there last year. Glad it's still being used as it's a good letter! :D... Anyways, I suppose I should go and connect myself up to the mains to get back on topic *whack*
