  1. I found this while i was searching for a documentary on the Sid Chip, to see if such a thing existed, I've been thinking of doing one myself the last few weeks - well more of "a history of" the sid chip, and an informative technical demo of the synthesis capabilities of the chip, to educate people what it is and what it can do. If anyone is doing something similar or interested in helping out in any way, sure get in contact. Im not working or in college so have plenty of spare time on my hands. :P According to wikipedia the sid gets a mention in this docutmentary: http://www.2playerproductions.com/video/rftp/ Has anyone seen this documentary? Yatagatsu in paticular? It was showcased in texas this year. At the moment only the trailer and 3 clips have been released.
  2. Thanks man. I thought i spotted a MOS chip on the PC card, but maybe it was just a MOS processor, or not a mos at all. Must look into it.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKyUnaZgFVo&feature=related They put a c64 on sale for 350 in a modern computer store lol! Id love to be able to understand what is been said but theres some really old c64 footage which makes it worth watching! Can anyone explain what red PCBs are been built towards the end? Theres like a PCI card with what appears to be a sid chip, so im guessing either a reduced version of the c64 in pci form? Or maybe hardsid? ???
  4. Forgive my friench, but holy fuck! :o
  5. Forgive me for not quoting this before i posted: :P The reason its 20 words or less is he because he keeps getitng mixed up and stalling! LOL
  6. Ah come on strydy, lets get realistic. The guy doesnt have a clue about half the the stuff hes talking about. He seems to be really stoned or something. Did you watch the computer one? http://www.expertvillage.com/video/4247_recording-studio-computers.htm "2.8 Gigabytes, i mean Mhz!" LOL I love the way it cuts on "ummmmm!" too lmao.
  7. This guys vids are halarious! You just have to watch them all! http://www.expertvillage.com/expert/684.htm "Expert village" my ass! ;D

  9. Like a knife through my heart! :'( So goblinz, why didnt you send me any pretty stamps for that knobs order? :( Haha and i love the way you managed to sneak in "synth" to that sentance!
  10. I recieved mine today, with the most beautiful orchid flowers i have ever seen, stamped on the front of the package. I think Thorsten is coming onto me you guys! ;) :-* Thanks very much TK. :)
  11. I did exactly what frailin did, and it is the safest way to go. I was using stripoard so what i did is stick the Probes in the next hole up from the soldered joint. Its safer this way so that the probe doesnt slide off the solder blob and end up hitting the wrong pin and creating a short. My c64c transformer had the exact same pin out as the most popular pinout fortuneatly enough.
  12. Nils likes to eat PICs for his tea, buy now before he eats them all!
  13. I was thinking the exact same. The colours reminded me of the project mame cabinet for some reason: And i think the font used is very arcade also.
  14. FILTH!!! ;D
  15. LOL, i was just thinking of posting that again haha.
  16. Those look like they have really excellent grip! Goblinz those albs knobs are by far the prettiest ones ive ever seen i have to say. Shame they dont produce them with more colours!
  17. Nice vid. I particularly liked the way you checked for coninuinity between a lot of the points. I wouldnt have thought of this, seems to be better to detect a problem before its finished, rather than spend a longer time trying to diagnose one.
  18. We're not being impatient, we're letting him know that we would be interested, whats wrong with that? At least then he can put a figure on how many people would be in on the next bulk order.
  19. Have you added on the rare parts list too? http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,11014.0.html http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,10364.0.html Im posting it just in case you havent, im not tring to insult your intelligence or anything!
  20. 2x303s, 1x909, 1x808, a mixer, and plenty of fx pedals to mess with G! Its fully modular too, you have to drag the cables to the I/Os, just like you would do with the real hardware. Its actually more advanced than Re-birth 2.01, and its a flash application!!! The only downside that its a basic sequencer, just a matter of play and stop!
  21. Lol, i dont find typing a few keywords, and clicing a button that "exhausting". The main members of this forum are extremely busy contributing to the community, it sorta takes over their lifes, they cant be spoonfeeding people all the time, so its good practice to search the info first, otherwise people just get lazy and demanding. ;)
  22. LMAO!!!!!! Jesus i dont how i failed to spot the single most important word in his whole post!!!! :-[] Feel free to delete these posts after youve read them, ill be deleting them within 12 hours anyway. ;)
  23. :o That is seriously sexy man! Congratulations on your 2nd child! ;D Is it a boy or girl this time? :P
