  1. If you have a look at the 2nd link in my first post, the guy uses an M-audio Oxygen Keyboard in that one.
  2. http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,7746.msg53141.html
  3. Ah you mean, having your own Keys/Keyboard built into the midibox right? It seems you must use a DIN module for the keys, and some custom code also. This guy here has made 2 Midibox sids, with keys: http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,6553.0.html http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,10928.0.html
  4. Yeah thats a good idea actually, to have a removeable DB25 male to audio connectors! Cheers.
  5. And also smash pointed out in the chat that its a Switching PSU instead of a linear psu like the original c64 psu. Most switching PSUs are prone to being noisey, so it may not be suitable for the MB-Sid application. Still a cool find and alternative though.
  6. Its really cool, especially for a replacement c64 PSU.. but as for midibox sid, wouldnt you be better off just suppling a 9v dc and 5v dc line directly, instead of having to use an optimised psu on top of this to convert AC to DC?
  7. Thats a really strange one. Id say get up some audio or preferably video to give a bit more insight to whats going on.
  8. Is it that hard to read the first post of a thread people!
  9. lol, i thought that was a joke until i clicked the wiki link! :P Ya dig?
  10. Meh, maybe theyre not as huge as i remmebered then! Sony mdrv-700s like the ones i have, would be a bit overkill for the streets! I wish i had found out about the HD-25s before i bought them , have them years now.
  11. Did you try connecting it into the opposite socket just to see if it was clearer? According to the Base PCB PDF you should be plugging it into that one: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/_media/mb-6582:mb-6582_base_pcb.pdf?id=wilba_mb_6582&cache=cache Follow the track lines from the 2 far right sid modules, aka U1_Sid1, and U2_Sid1.... and theyre clearly going into that socket.
  12. Why is the audio cable plugged into Sid 4, and not Sid 1? ??? Edit: Or is it just lying under that socket and only looks like its plugged in?
  13. Ah! i didnt realise you meant just for your country, i thought you meant globally when i posted.
  14. It was posted up before by someone else so i cant take credit for discovering it!
  15. can you make it out? osmok.de, or ozmok.de or what? The strange thing is, its a german address yet the seller is american. was there a bulk panel order for midibox nuxx?
  16. Blue and white is a good choice seen as its the cheapest one you can get anywhere online, from this dealer: http://www.divineo.com/cgi-bin/div-us/zz-xb-lcd-b Its being that price a while now, the only other colour they do is Black on green.
  17. Christ, thats a lot of messages to send though! Id have to do it almost everyday and by time id get a reply. I guess i could just use a link and not embedd in future.
  18. Cool. So let me get this straight, its okay to embed a photo, once the link to the page is above it? Ive edited my post, so have a look and let me know if its okay. I havent registered on flickr yet so wasnt aware of these rules just to let you know. Theres one more thing id like to know to. Is it a breach of copyright to embedd a picture on a forum? Im asking this genuinely as im clueless!
  19. Speaking of partspipe, did a search for Dual Gang 100K pots today on ebay, and they were the only seller that came up for them. Handy to know for MB-Sid feedback.
  20. LOL! It would require a very compact mesh wire bending technique! ;) Dudes i only googled imaged "c64 psu" and those pics were on the first page. Only took a minute but thanks anyhow lol! Found this cool pic of the resin block itself, bit too big to post here: http://home.icequake.net/~nemesis/misc/c64-psu2.jpg
  21. Hehe! I sent them off earlier today, this is my first time using international Paddy Post! :P So TK if you can, please let me know if they get there so we can see if it's reliable or not!
  22. THe newer white psu aka the brick is impossible to canabilize, that is the one thats embedded resin, you cant even replace the fuse in them! The only ones which can be canabilzed are the wedge shaped ones: Im pretty sure goblinz owns the one on the right, the one on the left is totally do-able anyway.
  23. OOoooooooooooo! :o A soft touch tactile switch! Whatever will they think of next!
  24. If people *dender cough*, complained about the cost of using USPS express, then could you imagine the amount of bitching about the cost of a courier service! He looked into their prices already but found them too expensive for the MB community.
