  1. Hiya, That has definitely got my interest up......yet again. Great video. cheers Paul
  2. Hiya, Parts received yesterday, once again many thanks Thorsten. cheers Paul
  3. Hiya, I'm not going to pretend I know everything you guys talk about but I am interested in this post as I also have a 9090 about 80% finished. It was my intention to build in the beat 707 (arduino and beat 707 shield) into the finished unit but on reflection I may as well run the beat 707 separately, this leaves the 9090 as it was intended and I get to keep my sequencer should I ever want to sell the 9090. I don't understand the comments about the 1ms delay on multiple notes though,I use my yamaha dd55 with the sticks to drive my alesis sr16 sometimes via midi and can't say I have ever noticed the notes 'stuttering?' as such. Not trying to be a smart ass....just interested and a little puzzled. cheers Paul
  4. Hiya, Great stuff Thorsten, I don't know where you get the ideas from, maybe or maybe but keep em coming please. cheers Paul
  5. Hiya, I get a good feeling about this project but have a couple of questions. 1. Will it be possible to transfer patterns between the lite v4 and the seq v4? 2.Will it incorporate the arpeggiator? 3.Can the cv out be used to control analogue synths? Sorry if these seem like dumb questions but if you don't ask you don't get to find out. cheers Paul
  6. Hiya, Boards arrived today (UK) lovely piece of setting out Thorsten, thanks. cheers Paul
  7. I bought the Imea sequencer which also includes a drum sequencer you can have a play with the trial version here http://www.imea-stud...umsCreator.aspx I think it's a great bit of kit,you can save the patterns as wav files and import them into your daw. At the time of writng it only had midi in but will run as a Vsti (only the standalone drum version not the sequencer).........but worth taking the trial in my opinion, plus it only costs around 18 euro. cheers Paul

  10. Thanks TK, Your efforts are very much appreciated. Paul.
  11. Hi all, Thanks for the replies and suggestions, rather than just making do with the cheaper end of the market I am going to go into 'scrooge' mode and scrape some money together for a Rigol (as these get a lot of favourable comments from folks). Again, thanks for replying Paul
  12. Hiya, I am looking for an oscilloscope but as usual on the net there is loads of conflicting information. It will be used in the construction and fault finding on the type of projects here and elsewhere on the net (arduino stuff, analogue synths, drum machines etc) After reading tons of material I have formed the opinion that I need a digital scope with a 100mhz range and a minimum of 2 channels. I am asking the knowledgeable members here for any valuable advice and or an opinion on which machine they would personally use and the price range (lower the better obviously). cheers Paul
  13. Lovin it :) cheers Paul
  14. Hi all, Just found this and thought it might come in useful http://www.sc-fa.com/blog/2010/10/07/silicone-rubber-test-results-and-comparison/ cheers Paul

  16. I had one of the sales reps from Derby (UK) come to see me about using some profile, the prices were very reasonable but the killer was the packing and postage. I think the site is hard to navigate but there are some good profiles scattered about http://www.item24.com/en/ hope this helps a bit cheers Paul
  17. Hiya, I enjoyed all three tracks (I am an avid satriani fan btw) please excuse me for five minutes while I go and jump up and down on my guitar (envious). cheers Paul
  18. Now that is one of the weirdest pieces of music I have ever heard.......................but for some reason or other I like it. Sorta reminds me of Jethro Tull vs Dr who on acid. cheers Paul
  19. "and turn the brightness pot to half-way or less" Very important bit of advice :-) cheers Paul
  20. Warning!!!! If you are thinking of getting a Yamaha FS1R do not under any circumstances order a Yamaha FS1E thinking it is a variant, I know the names are very similar but the FS1E is a 49cc moped that will not fit through your letter box and does not have midi and is not very musical..........................just sayin :-) cheers Paul
  21. Easy listening......nice. cheers Paul
  22. Hello, Okay first things first, what do you specifically want to make? Paul
  23. Hiya, I'm not sure I really understand what you are after but try these links, you could also consider breadboard construction (reusable) or perfboard/veroboard. http://tacashi.tripod.com/elctrncs/pcbworks/pcbworks.htm http://www.qsl.net/k5lxp/projects/PCBFab/PCBFab.html http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=37519 http://www.rcexplorer.se/page14/page15/page15.html there is a shit load of info on google but post again if you are stuck. cheers Paul
