  1. Thanks Rosch :flowers: I don't remember the patch exactly, but for the Bass I'm pretty sure I used 2 Moog clone filters (one for each channel)and ran each channel through a phaser. I'll bet I have some Band-Pass in there too. I love the band-pass! It's so cold :brr: I end up using it somewhere on almost everything I do! The lead in the middle and the end are the Miniak with a low-pass then a formant filter chained. And of Course, the drums are almost all MBFM, both sampled and realtime!
  2. Cool Jam. Neat textures
  3. That's pretty cool Hawk. It's Spacey. Cool Machine you got there
  4. I love Drum Machines... So needless to say, I've got a few; A couple Nice ones... I find myself reaching for the MBFM for most of my drums. They're so Crispy and Crunchy! They're very unique sounding. The kicks just make my Woofers bounce. I love'em!! Thanks TK Here's my latest, Hope you like it.
  5. This one is strange. I figured SOME of you guys might relate  Hope you like
  6. Cool song. That modulated part is awesome. Using CCs to control the LFO?
  7. Started out with a simple loop on my analog sequencer and 606. That and I'd just watched Heavy Metal. Got me to thinking of Interplanetary invasions... Get your Lazer Axe, The hoard is comin'...
  8. Wow. That's BadAss  Dark! Very Cool. I gotta build me one of these MBSEQs. Maybe in my spare time
  9. I'm glad to hear that Hawk  I used my Miniak for the Vocoder. It takes some work, but I manage to wring some satisfactory Robot out of it. I need to take some time and really figger out how to feed external sounds as the carrier ie: MBFM or Modular synth... I think I'd have to rig up something to send the samples in through the balanced mic input  I got another song with Vocoder and MBFM... I'll post that up one of these days. Thanks guys :flowers:
  10. Here's my latest. Hope you like
  11. I'm pretty sure it's happened to all of us at one point or another  Thanks
  12. I built a 5532 based mic pre and it gets pretty crunchy if I turn it up. It's pretty warm. The first thing I ever built was a Paia tube pre... needless to say it didn't work :getlost: That's entirely due to my own ineptitude - don't let that be a reflection on Paia. I'll see if I can't find this 5532 pre ... simple 5532 mic pre I just saw that it has a pcb... I just knocked it up on pad-per-hole board. You could probably control the gain on it if you used a pot for R4. Not a tube pre... but easy and warm.

Thanks. I did it all on my modular synth and MPC 1000. Mostly just screwing around with the dual multimode filters... ie: self oscillation and EGs and stuff. I would sequence, then sample a bar, then track it up.

  15. Don't know how I missed this  ;; gate/slide/accent of all 6 oscillators can be forwarded to the 8 digital outputs at J5 ;; note that this overlays the switch assignments of the patch structure ;; DEFAULT_J5_FUNCTION should be set to 3 if you are plannung to use this function. ;; possible values: 0..8 - 0 disables an assignment ;; (gate supported by all engines) #define DEFAULT_GATE_OSC1_L_OUT 1 #define DEFAULT_GATE_OSC2_L_OUT 3 #define DEFAULT_GATE_OSC3_L_OUT 5 #define DEFAULT_GATE_OSC1_R_OUT 2 #define DEFAULT_GATE_OSC2_R_OUT 4 #define DEFAULT_GATE_OSC3_R_OUT 6

"You see that? Danica Patrick just tried to get in my way! That pisses me off!" Gotta love South Park.

  17. Thanks Me Too. I got it to work on my MBCV  The MBSID setup is slightly different... ;; 0: J5 has no function at all (analog inputs don't need to be connected to ground) ;; 1: J5 used for analog inputs - A0..A4 control Knob#1..#5, A5..A7 are not used at all ;; 2: J5 used as digital output (pins can be added in CS_MENU_DOUT_TABLE as "shift register #0") ;; 3: J5 used as digital output for external switches (replacement for DEFAULT_EXT_SWITCH_DOUT, AOUT_INTERFACE_TYPE must be != 0) #define DEFAULT_J5_FUNCTION 0 I'm thinking I should set the default J5 Function to 3 except that it explicitly tells me that AOUT Interface type must be = 0. I'm using the AOUT NG so I have the AOUT Interface type set to 3...
  18. That's beautiful Hawk
  19. Just got an LPCXpresso!! No Idea how to use it but... That'll come

hehe, I got mine too a while back. It was a lot smaller than I initially thought :). Just waiting to see what exciting stuff to do with it :D

  20. Is there anything I need to do besides enable AOUT NG? I turned S1 - S8 on in the ext menu on the lead engine. Do I need to enable the Default ext switch out? J5 is not sending anyhting. I set the default gate as Osc1L 1 and Osc1R 3...
