  1. He he he  I googled him after I read rosch and Hawk's comments
  2. +2 on the MBHerBie  Let's get workin' on it! SammichHerbie? I dance just like him while I sing too :afro:
  3. Damn! That's cold Kristal. :brr: he he he Between you an Wilba I can't get no love :poke: I'll be retracking the vocals. I just posted it up to chew on for a little while. Catchy song though. Like it or not, I'll bet it's stuck in your head... Next up is some FM Wobbles I'm working on. Thanks for reading my bio! :nuke: Yeah, sometimes (every morning) I just need a little kickstart First Thing
  4. That's cause you guys are winners  Probably very few people could get so much done (gracefully might I add)and still have time to pump out tunes. Maybe :sorcerer: It's some girl I know. I feel dirty having my number in the same phone as the other people she knows... I'll leave it at that... Thanks
  5. I had problems with my GM5x5x5 because I didn't have the chip soldered properly. I'm sure you checked that though...
  6. Banged this out today. Just wanted to share
  7. Yeah. There're a lot of clowns out there. Don't think in any way that this reflects on anything you did. You made a generous offer to the midibox community cause you knew someone would appreciate and care for it. It's a shame that not everyone shares your character and generosity. The world would be a better place. :flowers:
  8. Hi. I'm trying to pitchbend with my MPC1000 JJOS2 slider. I can route it to a different channel but I don't want to do that. The pitchbend on my keyboard works :hmm: Anybody know how to hook that up?
  9. I've been to busy to record the MBFM. seems like as soon as I built it I started building a modular synth.... I'll get to it soon (I hope)
  10. Sounds great Hawk  You must be a busy guy. I don't know how you do it all... Maybe :sorcerer: Magic?
  11. You can build one pretty easy  Or keep an eye on the flea market... Check out the UCApps pages. Your best bet is SID V2 single/double SID Setup Minimal Control Surface :cheer:
  12. Wow. That is RUDE! TBS (Touched by Sound) = Vicious Bastards!!! Sharks. Plain and simple. No Permission, No Dough and No Acknowledgement for TK, Wilba and nILs. And they're lookin' at $20,000 profit. Easy! For 20 of'em. Probably all Fucked up too. Let's not forget R&D costs though, Oh Wait.... and now lil' Jimmy can't find a C64 with a SID chip to build one his self  Scum Bags

    Congratz Guyz!! Beautiful
  14. Ha! I guess so :sorcerer: It may put out a bigger gate signal... Shouldn't cause a problem though. If you try it out post up here and let us know
  15. I'm changing the name of this thread :sorcerer: If you don't have eagle and need a PDF lemme know
  16. yeah. you have it connected to pin 11. the pins go around the chip counter clockwise, starting at the left
  17. I didn't think of that  I'll see if I can figger that one out while I have little access to the intranetz. It runs off the same -/+ 12V as the MBCV. I think it needs to be -/+12V for the reference voltage for the comparator circuit. If you know enough about that kind of stuff you could probably fiddle with the resistor values in the voltage divider (for the reference) right above the first TL074. I don't quite know enough about how this all works yet. I don't see any reason you couldn't just slap a 7812/7912 on there and run both your MBCV and the Buffer/Comparator board off of that though. (So long as you have enough juice for everything) I just gave them (the MBCV and the Buffer/Comparator) their own shared supply so as not to bog down my -/+ 15V PSU Got it!: It's based on this schematic: MFOS Gate Buffer W/ Comparator outs The SCH and the BRD files are there. You'll notice there are like 16 gates/inverters on the 40106s that aren't used. That's only for ergonomics. If you can figger out what to do with them let us know. I would use insulated wire for the jumpers connecting -12V to the TL074s (on the right of them) Don't forget to hit ratsnest to run the groundplane  Good Luck! GateBuffer With Comparator 1 REF routed#3!!.zip
  18. I tried and it told me I wasn't allowed. I searched but no luck. I designed a PCB (based on a MFOS design) for a Gate buffer/comparator to boost MBCV gates to 12V for modular stuff. It has 8 gates and gives you 8 triggers too. I'd love to share. It's 1 sided with a few jumpers so you can etch it @ home
