  1. Maybe the core was revised too, since I bought it. But, mine is only compatible with rev B. I'm pretty sure, Lextronic has a stock of revB, but ask them before.
  2. Take care because between EA board révision there is difference in the position of the central pins which make the core not compatible with it, the good révision is B if I remember well, C doesn't match. Ask for the révision before order it.
  3. Depends on how you need to get it placed on your project. Maybe I can make a library from my pcb by grouping each ring, for you after to route between rings/driver and mosfet adresses lines. For you to know, it's 4 layer pcb, there's 48 channel lines between rings and driver + 32 addresses lines. Soldering 32 *1.6mm square leds by ring oblige to be precise and patient. Parkinson please refrain from ;)
  4. Yes no 3d, no fake lol It was not easy. The difficulty was to route the rings. it's 16 rgb leds with 32:1 multiplexing, 2 mux adress by ring.then it's a 48 channels bus which passes thru the rings on full length of the board. This top board is 4 layers but even with that, it was hard work.
  5. Thanks Smitty, I saw Holden for the Chloé birthday in 2006 or 2007 maybe. I remember it was one of my best party! And his "at the control" is the best too. more eye candy ;)

First ring is gradation from green to red with its step index in white Second blue to red, step index off

It's the first proto then only 2 rings/oleds and encoders. Before that I was not sure it will work then only few parts wasted if not. But it's working and it was enough for testing!

  9. ...There's black plastic mask for the ring between the PCB and the PMMA, it has the same depth as the oled. Forgot to explain that. You can see it on the "Note Mode" picture.
  10. Yes you can do such a disk but in my case with so close and 120° angle led, the closest led are polluted and you loose visual precision. I tried it too lol. I've got a CNC so I haven't got limit. There's PMMA in the ring holes too, this holes have a kind of tear shape, the bit I used is 0.8mm diameter. Ring and screen window are one piece PMMA. Make a full ring is difficult in my case, because of the circuit, there's bus inside the ring and i need to connect it, this is the way on my PCB. And it was a very very very long work to route this part.

  12. I will fill the wiki every day it's to much information to do it in only one time... Sorry for that. But don't worry I will explain and show everything. An example: A test to show notes on the ring in black and white: Thank you for your understanding. Antichambre

Use Black(off) and white colors, keyboard like.
  14. wiki in construction... Yes it's 31 segments for the 270° open ring to get one in the middle-top, the extra one is for an index at the middle-bottom. Can run on a LPC17, i did it but its RAM is too small for an app like the SEQ and this module, so I designed it for the STM32F4. I used J10A and J10B for the full module(OLED/RING/ENCODER) and wrote a specific software module. I left free all other connectors for others peripherals.
  15. Hi Claire. Something like that? Best regards
  16. Same sequence as video but better audio example on soundcloud ;)
  17. Hi Phatline, For Gallery, I've got the same problem as you but i find that you can see it with right click on the picture and open in a new tab, strange behaviour... Can not delete a picture too... Hummm. No VCS needed, the PCB fits into a cartridge, there's all I/O on a D-Sub 25... Power, MIDI I/O, Audio L/R and Aux for tuture purpose. It's a standalone synth, you just need to drive it in midi and/or with the manager I created under Max/Msp. See wiki for more explanation and detail, you will find a video of cartridge in play ;) Then, You're in the list now ;) Antichambre New list: - Mat x1 - Djo x1 - mrspring - yogi - scrubber - thumper - Academic Planner - Tr1ptron1c - Phatline - Me x3
  18. The List - Mat x1 - Djo x1 - Mrspring - Yogi - Scrubber Fox - Thumper - Academic Planner - Tr1ptron1c - Me x3 new PCB cartridge Version 2 I removed a cross-over between digital and audio part which was on the first version.
  19. Hi, In broadcast systems we use Guielmetti audio patch, bantam contact is not fine enough for digital signals like AES or S/P DIF. We use CSF 2x48 in general but ASF model some time is enough for both analog and digital. I've got 2 CSF 2x48 in my homestudio, there are associated with some krone wiring module which permit to change the position of a machine without soldering on the patch. regards
  20. I didn't share the firmware on the SVN, cause I was not be able to do it, forget password now I think, key files are probably lost on my older dead computer. Sorry... toDo Sources are structured and FW is running but have to check if they are clean and readable, that's ASM... I remember Wavetable(like SID) and 4bit Sampler Modes have to be fully tested and implemented. midibox_tia_v1b.zip All others things are on dokuwiki. Note: after some tests I think PIC is not enough for 4bit Samples memory (10 sec max) ... I have a lot of work that's true, but not only. My biggest problem, it's like the tracks I made, always feel it unfinished, like an uncompleted thing, don't know if it's just because I'm never satisfied or because an idea is always introducing more ideas, but it's an infinite thing... So I've got a lot of thing to do with the TIA and I spent some time to develop and test some. You know that the 'T' if TIA is Television? So this chip can generate a video signal too, that's the raison i tried to connect it with a LPC17. Because video needs a fast uC. I used the internal DAC with FFT routine and an external audio source to modulate different patterns. Here the result: Circle diameter change on Background luma change. Reel time Spectrum Analyser What i want is a Midibox with 4 TIA and 2 POKEY for audio to expand voices and a separated TIA for the Video part. Of course we need a dedicated CS for this machine too. But i cannot do it alone, it's too much work. I will finish the little cartridge for those who want it, and after if someone is interested to help me develop this bigger project he's welcome, I can share everything.
