  1. Hi Guys, is it possible to get the PCB definition files in order to be able to reproduce them ? Cheers orange
  2. Hi, can you please post an audio example of the noise you are talking about, otherwise it is difficult to say whether it is the regular noise of the 6581 / 8580 or something else.. cheers orange
  3. Hi, I am currently looking for such a PSU, so if somebody has one left, I would be happy to take it. Cheers orange
  4. Hi, I think the LPC fits in that case, if you mount it on the bottom. You would need a break out board for the rear panel, as shown here: http://www.sequencer.de/synthesizer/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=70858&start=75 Cheers Matt
  5. ok, so you can supply the core32 as well as the AOUT with one PSU ? It is just important to connect the +5V for the AOUT either directly from the Meanwell or indirectly through the Core32, correct ? If you supply the Core32 from the +5V rail of the meanwell, do you still need a voltage 5V regulator on the core board ? Cheers orange
  6. Hi guys, I am currently looking for a PSU suitable for an AOUT module. I saw the bulk order for the Meanwell RPT-60B and wonder if this works well together with the AOUT: Meanwell RPT-60B http://www.meanwell.com/search/RPT-60/RPT-60-spec.pdf Can anybody confirm whether this works fine on an AOUT module or not ? I also found a linear bipolar one from Doepfer, which is very expensive and I wonder if there are other options out there: Doepfer A-100 PSU2 http://www.thomann.de/de/doepfer_a_100psu2.htm I would appreciate if we could collect the PSU’s in this thread suitable for the AOUT Cheers orange
  7. Your extension looks great. If you design your own PCB's for the extension I would be very interested in a set of them :-) What kind of buttons will you use for the 4 x 16 matrix ?
  8. I thought the green once would fit better, but actually I like the blue/white ones better :-). Maybe I will change it back to the blue/white ones .... The second part of my documentation can be found here: http://www.sequencer.de/synthesizer/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=70858&start=75 Cheers orange
  9. .... finally completed .... ... documentation in progress :-), please wait ... cheers orange
  10. Hi, you can also check out the following thread: http://www.sequencer.de/synthesizer/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=70858 The description is in German, but there are a lot of pictures. Please note that I have modified the front panel with some profiles at the ends of the front panel. This was necessary to prevent the front panel to move when the sequencer is turned up side doiwn :-) I will finish this thread soon, as I have now received my rear panel. Once my sequencer is complete, I will update the WIKI with my tutorial. Cheers orange
  11. Hi, I am using the following Meanwell PSU for the 5V supply and there is no noise in the audio path :-): http://www.reichelt.de/Schaltnetzteile-Case-geschlossen/SNT-MW25-05M/3/index.html?;ACTION=3;LA=446;ARTICLE=66858;GROUPID=4959;artnr=SNT+MW25-05M;SID=13UO6i3H8AAAIAABMVujEf5a943e29a75bef0f11cdfbba54a9d83 On the 9V supply I am using this transformer: http://www.reichelt.de/Printtrafos-25-50VA/EI-66-34-7-209/3/index.html?;ACTION=3;LA=446;ARTICLE=27407;GROUPID=3318;artnr=EI+66%2F34%2C7+209;SID=13UO6i3H8AAAIAABMVujEf5a943e29a75bef0f11cdfbba54a9d83 And by the way: the noise is normally not filtered by the big capacitors. The small ceramic capacitors, close to the voltage regulators are filtering the noise. Cheers orange
  12. Does that make sense ? Without a fan the heat will stay in the enclosure and additional heat sinks won't help a lot.... But a fan in combination with some holes underneath the PCB (where the voltage regulators are located) will help ! I tried the three ways: no heat sink, heat sink and fan. The latter is the most efficient way to keep the temperature on a low level.
  13. Was there a new bulk order ? Did I miss something ?!?!
  14. Hi, my windows arrived as expected. Thank you for the effort ! Cheers orange
  15. The sequencer is now sold, congratulations to the new owner !

  17. Hi, I would also take 2 MB6582 windows. Cheers orange
