In Berlin günstig an SIDs kommen (Flohmärkte, Geschäfte etc)?
orange_hand replied to SIB's topic in Deutsch
Greetz orange -
I am currently at this stage :-) Made the mistake and used flat top LED's, terrible. Especially if you have to disassemble the control surface again, like I had to :-( Good luck anyway :-) Cheers orange

Hi, according to the data sheet attached, the wiring of your LCD is exactly the same as the once I used. Please note that my mapping table is for the CORE32, not sure if the LPC17 has got exactly the same allocations on its connector. If so, you can use the mapping 1:1... Good luck :-) Cheers orange

Hi, you want to check this out: Most of the displays are identically, especially the 2x40 as there are not some many different on the market compared to the 4x20... For further support, please post the data sheet of your display... You can search via your preferred search engine using the ID's on the back of your display. Also the shop where you bought them should have a data sheet. Cheers orange

Hi, I would try to get a desoldering iron in order to get the Sid out without a damage. You can then test them in a C64 with a socket for the Sid. Also there is th NAFTA (north america free trade asgreement) in place. Check out if there is any import Vat (GST, HST, QST, PST, FNT... hehe) or duty on electronic parts. Cheers orange

I was able to load the SEQV4 firmware to the Core32 after the selection of the appropriate device "00" [not "01" :-)] But thanks for looking indeed :-) Cheers orange

Hi, Today I tried to load the SEQV4 firmware into the CORE32 but there was no response. The USB connection was established and the MIOS Studio stated that the core is ready for the upload. I started the upload of the "project.hex" but there was no response from the core. MIOS Studio dumped a warning into the message log: Do I need to set a specific jumper in order to upload the firmware. I read the manual a couple of times but I couldn't really find an advice. Cheers orange

Seq V4 Update schlägt fehl "Timeout on query request""

LOL... manchmal helfen die einfachen Dinge im Leben :-) -
Hi, I am wondering what I need to do in order to enable the LED's for the MIDI in's and out's on the CORE32, like it is realized on the IIC board. When I read the documentation a couple of weeks ago I found somewhere an explanation, but I can't retrieve it. The only thing I remember is that it has to be in parallel to the MIDI connectors ... Can anyone help me out with a small schematic ? Cheers orange
