Djo
Hey, I'm planning to etch the biggest 5x5 interface, I know there was a PCB somewhere in this post (but I really don't want to search 33 pages back). TK, could you put this PCB on the Ucapps GM5 page, next to the 2x2 PCB?
nILS
http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/gm5x5x5 - pay special attention to the FAQ #1 ;)Then maybe go here: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=gm5x5x5_pcb_bulk_order

zgba
Just got mine:) Indeed, the PCB is really beautiful, but GM5 chip is smaller than I thought... But yesterday I soldered YMF262 and YAC512 chips on a selfmade PCB without soldermask, so I think I can manage it. Anyway, wish me luck! Und natürlich dankeschön Thorsten! Snyderman
Got my chips today, thanks again TK. These chips and boards are a lot smaller than I thought!EDIT: I'm having some trouble finding the Reichelt equivalent components on Mouser.com, if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. There's so many variants on some of these components I don't know which ones are right to get.
puddingbrumsel
ups .. passed this order. are there any spare chips left or do i have to wait for the next ? just need one. I'm already on the list for a gm5x5x5.
nILS
Snyderman: Just drop by the chat some time, we'll make a mouser BOM and publish that here ;)
Snyderman
Snyderman: Just drop by the chat some time, we'll make a mouser BOM and publish that here ;)Absolutely, I'll try to catch you in the chat one of these days. I tried to get some help there earlier but I don't think the right folks were in the channel.I've tried my best to avoid asking for help and reading the documentation but it's really hard to find a comparison between the Reichelt order and Mouser, since the part numbers aren't the same. lukas412
Below are the parts that I ordered from Mouser. I built my GM5 last night and it works like a charm. timyo
added a request to purchase on the wiki, I hope you offer shipping to the united states. I tried to search through the posts but the form is so large and search results havent told me much.
mbreges
Thanks, got the chip, PCB; soldered everything; the device is recognised, the drivers are installed. All is fine. Cheers P.S. But the parts are more expensive here, in Moscow, than in the order list. The crystal, optocoupler, eeprom, capacitors, resistors, diode and the led cost me almost 10 EUR.
