Just Phil Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 tried the new one for a while, great for night reading, with the light on i prefer the old colours... i'm probobly going to go back and forth on this one... maybe a quick "paint it black" link somewhere at the top??? Quote
stryd_one Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 Another good one twinnie! Like phil, I'll probably chop-and-change this around. Dark theme for at home, especially night; light theme for work and on the train when it's sunny etc.I prefer your logo on the dark theme though. Quote
stryd_one Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 I just noticed, the bookmarks links are gone too :(RIP extra smileys? :(Listen to me... nag, nag, nag. Where's the :X face? heheh Quote

nebula Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 It's pretty, but I'm likely to spend more time with the familiar theme. I agree that it's nicer for reading in the dark. I wouldn't say the actual layout is significantly better or worse, but it's different enough that it takes me longer to navigate. Quote
/tilted/ Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Possibly unrelated to layout, but in the tabs at the top:"Ucapps" - Home of the the projects...This is an old perception test. Most people read so quickly, that they'll never notice the double word in that configuration. Quote

Artesia Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 tried the new scheme breifly; only it gives me a headache and its hard to read in parts..ta for a hack at tinkering however. Quote
cavey Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 I like the dark stuff.Could you make the quick reply box have a greyish background? It sticks out like a thumb in my sore eye with the rest being dark. The breadcrumbs on top are nigh impossible to read (black on dark grey background? hmmmz)Oh, could you compress the icons a bit? There's too much screen real estate being lost on spiffy nice icons, making the dark layout look rather untidy to me. Too much scrolling to go through the complete list of boardsCompare with f.e. http://www.dnbforum.nl/index.php?op=forummore condensed, better overview :D Quote
Twin-X Posted October 2, 2009 Author Report Posted October 2, 2009 nice scheme however i am no doing anyhing o he forum anymore as i am planning to migrate it to vbulletin. Hoever since they have no release date for version 4 i cannot start. Quote
