  1. Hi John E. Finster Nice thoughts! Might be the smallest Midi-keyboard i have seen... It makes sense to Print the Front panel Layout 1:1 to hold it over the device before ordering. I never had a disadvantage with Schaefer. It always showed up to be my fault in the end... Happy new year! novski
  2. @TK: Thanks for thinking about a problem of mine! Sounds great. Enjoy Holidays!
  3. HI TK. There is no point i don't agree with your proposals. I didn't think about latencies yet. I don't have permission to Install any software on the Audio console. {For understanding of the host software: Its a 72 stereo channel real time mixer. It has 2ms latency from audio input to output. All running on a WinXP OS. Thanks to the Assembly language programed Audio processing, its really possible to even make in-ear monitoring for acts on stage with so low latencies.} Thats why my thought are always going back towards a independent working midi controller. Do you think it cold be possible to enhance latencies with a connection over the CAN bus with MBNet? Merry christmas! best regards novski
  4. Well thats exact the problem of my software. Its not possible to connect more than one midi in and out. Is there a other possability to connect a Display for each fader then with one LPC17 Core for 8 displays? Wold you sugest to rather connect al 4 fader modules to the first core and chain 3 more cores just for the displays? Best regards Novski
  5. I have a general Question about the planed Router and Link option of NG and MF_NG. In the tutorial of its written that its possible to chain multiple MF_NG modules on one Core by setting the last as a end point in chain. Will it also be possible to chain several NG with one MF_NG "slave"? like this: DAW_Midi_OUT ->\ LPC17_#1_Midi1_IN -> LPC17_#1_Midi2_OUT -> MF_NG_#1_Midi_IN -> MF_NG_#1_Midi_OUT -> LPC17_#1_Midi2_IN -> LPC17_#1_Midi1_OUT -->\ LPC17_#2_Midi1_IN -> LPC17_#2_Midi2_OUT -> MF_NG_#2_Midi_IN -> MF_NG_#2_Midi_OUT -> LPC17_#2_Midi2_IN -> LPC17_#2_Midi1_OUT -->\ LPC17_#3_Midi1_IN -> LPC17_#3_Midi2_OUT -> MF_NG_#3_Midi_IN -> MF_NG_#3_Midi_OUT -> LPC17_#3_Midi2_IN -> LPC17_#3_Midi1_OUT -->\ LPC17_#4_Midi1_IN -> LPC17_#4_Midi2_OUT -> MF_NG_#4_Midi_IN -> MF_NG_#4_Midi_OUT -> LPC17_#4_Midi2_IN -> LPC17_#2_Midi1_OUT -->\ DAW_Midi_IN. I wold like to get more displays and a flexible 8 fader module design... can't test it because i don't have the multiple LPC17s jet.. best regards novski
  6. HI I feel a little bit silly but i can't manage to load the first step of the Manual. load hello doesn't change anything on my display. MIOS Studio shows: [6491.557] Patch 'hello' loaded from SD Card! And the File Browser ->see att. ??? Edit: -> didn't push save... please forgive me!
  7. HI Sauraen Sorry for that delay, i had to draw that by my self first. Then i understood what you mentioned. I think that doesn't work as well because then the LED will go dark every time i push the switch, doesn't it? That wold be a workaround but not really nice to look at... wold this work?
  8. TK, that doesn't match with my understanding of the description of Duggle. I just took out my multimeter to check and found out, that you hooked a resistor in RC1,RC2 and SC. You didn't solder a Resistor in the Y7 output (SO). Why? best regards novski
  9. @Duggle: Am I going right that you mean pin 11 (Y7) on the 541 (IC1) by LPC17 Core?
  10. Thanks yogi I didn't know about the Netlist. Seams to be a great thing to check every connection. I will go through that this as soon i find time this week. I named the Pin's also by the pic now. the new zip file contains that. thanks a lot for the hint of that Netlist export! novski Midibox Fadermodul v2.zip

  12. HI So, after starting my idea on march this year, i finally come to a first real development step now. I had to buy and learn how to draw schematics and boards first soo... but finaly i made all schematic work for a Fadermodul i like. would someone throw an eye on it? I had problems exporting it to a good resolution witch is readable and dosen't require to much scrolling but it seams impossible becaus always when i resize it, the the text becomes unreadable. Thats why i made a .zip file So thanks for every suggestion of improvement on my hard work. novski Midibox Fadermodul.zip

did you engrave that groove by hand?
  14. Hi Im redesigning my board so i can fit a Bourns PEL12T Encoder in my circuit. As known its not possible to use the DIN modules developed here by Midibox people, but i like the idea of illuminating the shaft of the encoder. So i found the matching register for the DOUT module but can't find the complementary to an 74-165 that works with High signals on inputs. Does anybody have an idea how to manage those inputs without using NPN transistors for every input? Atached my schema i drawn from DIN Module schema and the schema of the encoder (LED and SW part.) witch don't match together... thanks for any help! novski
  15. Im now in Drawing progress of my MBHP_NF_NG and wold like to get some different thoughts... My plan is to make Modules of 8 Faders, 2 Buttons, 8 OLEDS. One CoreLPC17 with a MBHP_NG slave. I whan't to connect several modules in a row. Whitch Midi I/O should I use to Link the Multiple CoreLPC17 Modules and witch Midi I/O is best to use for Slaving the MBPH_MF_NG. best regards novski
10 tagen angekommen... (meist aus der USA!) Liebe Grüsse novski
  17. Hi Im searching since days for a very smal OLED Display. Does anyone know a Manufacturer that makes Displays <1" suported by a CoreLPC17? Al i use to see is about 5 Digits... Thanks for hints... novski
  18. Hi Rony Thats possible with the MF_NG and the Midibox_LC Project. Im currently building almost that. But it takes some time to get in the electronics and Do It Yourself thoughts... Ilmenator speaks truth, its never cheaper than getting a Pre-made controller. But fun and something to learn... May i ask what do you want to do with your Controller? best regards novski
  19. Yes. True. But.. :-) I'm wondering where the third wirewrap wire is going.... the one that is connected to the Pin2 on the MagJack. Best Regards Novski
  20. Well i didn't meant the conection between other sources. What i mean is to connect a LPC17_Core to an other LPC17_Core (or some other midibox equipment...) so i can save the 4 MIDI Ports for Connection to 4 MF_NG Modules and Connect to 32 Faders... As it is writen on the ucapps.de site: The MIDIbox Network concept is the basis for linking multiple Core Modules in the upcoming MIDIbox SID V2 project, and it will replace the MIDIbox Link which was used in the previous version. Are those taughts buried already? have a nice sunday!
  21. Hi TK I don't see the MBnet in the list of Planed Features. Why? best regards novski
  22. The Schematic of LPC17 Core Module has Pin2 connected with a wirewrap to witch i cant find the doc... Wikipedia told me that pin 2 should be TD- and pin 4 open, is that a mistake by me? Thanks novski
  23. i found it by RS Electronics. Its a Sifam Cap but the actual PDF of their Program doesent show the T-Lever version. You can see it by looking at a older version thats on RS webpage: http://docs-europe.electrocomponents.com/webdocs/0f7a/0900766b80f7ac77.pdf Its a very nice cap. Only problem is that they sell in packages of 5...
  24. Hi KUI Did you ask Bob about the midi-feedback? How is your project going forward? Does your device show the channel names on seperate displays? Have a nice day! Novski
