  1. originally one year, later changed to two: Moore's Law
  2. Automatic translation - always a good laugh ;D
  3. This is a trap for non-native speakers ;D
  4. Buffer size can be an issue with multiple SysEx strings at the (multiple) inputs. Yet, this is rather an academic problem... Best regards, ilmenator
  5. Hey, this is LEGO - it has to be colorful to convey these special nostalgic childhood memories ;D
  6. All roads lead to Rome. ;D
  7. I also took a look at their website. I wonder if the custom driver that improves performance and provides multi-client access is to be purchased separately? Or is this part of the chip/board purchase and downloadable for free? Best regards, ilmenator

    Fusspedal

Gruesse, ilmenator
  9. ilmenator does the math: 5 physical MIDI I/Os X 10 chips = ... drool!! I can finally buy/build more MIDI gear. My wife is going to hate you, TK ;D Best regards, ilmenator
  10. Then go read the first post in this thread...
  11. The learning curve with English is just different. It's easy to start with, and you get results very quickly (don't we all love this?). But then, after reaching a certain level, it can get really strange and complicated. Ask around what implications/meanings the word "nice" can have in different contexts... At least that is what I was told once ;D - I'm not a native speaker myself. Best regards, ilmenator
  12. Then go organize one :). Best regards, ilmenator
  13. You can also do this with larger LEDs (e.g. 8mm ones) to get really nice and cheap illuminated buttons (scroll down to see the discussion on some more robust alternatives). Best regards, ilmenator
  14. I think mbnet is rather new - AFAIK it's only been used in the SIDv2 until now. But actually I see lots of applications. Once I get around re-designing the MB UC I could use it there, too. It's very attractive to have a return-channel (as opposed to the MIDI chain solution). Sorry I can't be of more help than just manifesting my interest in a C interface :-\. Best regards, ilmenator
  15. This is outright crazy - unbelievable that you managed to do this on veroboard. RESPECT! I assume that the front panel is also handmade? Best regards, ilmenator
  16. Hi leonard, this is a very interesting project! I would like to see/read some more details - e.g. schematics, code? Keep up the good work, ilmenator
  17. I'd say that price is okay. Make that 2 for me ;D. Best regards, ilmenator
  18. Tick the "+ Additional Options..." below the text input field and select the picture you want to attach from the search dialogue - voila! ;) Best regards, ilmenator Edit: Also, you can make sure that the picture is not wider than ca. 600 pixels - this way, I don't have to scroll sideways to see the whole picture at once. This scrolling thing is somewhat annoying as the scrollbar is very often located off (below) screen and I have to scroll down first to be able to scroll right...
  19. HAHAHA - I just knew I would lure some folks into such a statement ;D Ok, now back to productivity mode?
  20. I did not mean to be rude here - sorry, lief :). But some other popular threads turned almost useless here in no time, with countless people shouting that they want in, too.
  21. Ahh, you got me there :). Thanks for pointing this out!
  22. ...arrrgh, now I might see a reason for going private... :-\ PLEASE, no "count me in" statements in this thread. PRETTY PLEASE! Best regards, ilmenator
  23. Thanks for the guidelines, stryd! May I add that in MinGW 5.1.4 it seems that an old version of mingw32-make (3.80) is included. I had to manually add the GNU make, not a big deal, can be found on the same sourceforge site scrolling further down. Also, the -version command for make actually says "This program built for i686-pc-mingw32". Strange... ;D Best regards, ilmenator
  24. I'd say keep it open and in this thread. I can't see a single reason for going private now!? Best regards, ilmenator
;) Saludos, ilmenator
